On Saturday in Macau, the $550,000 Gr3 SJM Macau Derby Trial over 1500m was run and won in impressive fashion by 4yo BIG ALLOY (Foxwedge x Berna) who sat at the rear of the field until the 300m before unleashing a withering burst down the outside to swamp his opposition, going on to win by a length with a further 5.25 lengths back to third.
