The Team at Dynamic Syndications as a strategy, decided to hold back our Magic Millions 2YO Colt by super sire SO YOU THINK from the Exceed And Excel mare SULTAH to be the final horse we would offer to the market in 2025, ensuring we finish the 2025 year promotions with a BANG!
We are 90% SOLD - 2 Shares are available to complete the ownership team.

We didn’t anticipate that in that decision process, that Coolmore Stud and our industry as a whole, would tragically lose SO YOU THINK to liver failure at the age of 19.

Our 2YO Colt has a deep pedigree page that should he achieve Gr1 success he is a genuine Stallion Prospect, and he could well be the heir apparent to carry the legacy forward for SO YOU THINK.
SULTAH as a type is a queen to look at. A stunning sort, and therefore it is no surprise that she has been a brilliant broodmare with 7 Foals to Race = 7 Winners.
Our Colt is a Half-Brother to two (2) Stakes Winners, TARAAYEF (Lonhro) and to HAYBAH (More Than Ready).
He is a Half-Brother to a Stakes Placegetter MURAAHIB (Reset) and a Half-Brother to GHENWAA (Street Cry) – She is the Dam of a Gr1 Winner TASHI (Sebring) and a Stakes Performer RAPT (More Than Ready). When we purchased the Colt, Tashi was only Stakes Placed so becoming a Gr1 Winner is a significant pedigree upgrade.
Add to this Pedigree equation, that our Colt’s 2nd Dam Picholine (Dehere) was Gr1 and Gr3 Placed.
Apart from producing SULTAH to win 3 races including 1 race as a 2yo, SULTAH is a Half-Sister to three (3) Stakes Winners including Australasia’s Champion 3YO REBEL RAIDER - he was a dual Gr1 Winner of the VRC and South Australia Derbies. SULTAH is also a Half-Sister to Gr3 Winner SHAMOLINE WARRIOR and to Listed Winner CADILLAC MOUNTAIN.
This mating of SO YOU THINK over SULTAH has produced a magnificent individual. His conformation is superb. He has good size and scope and has broken-in with an easy flowing, economical action that has given Australia’s Leading Horseman Shane Rose the “warm and fuzzies.”

On Tuesday 28 October, we were back at Bimbadeen Park watching Shane Rose take our Colt through his pre-training routine and then watched him work with a 4yo stablemate named Dollars who is a Winner and 4 times placed in 9 starts including a Win at Newcastle and placed at Warwick Farm. Our 2yo colt more than holds his own against his older peer.

There is a terrific story behind how we came to purchase this colt at the sales which we had rated as high as any yearling we have purchased with a score of 8+.
Whilst genetically the cross is a cracker with an A+ 787% score, the exact cross of SO YOU THINK over an EXCEED AND EXCEL Broodmare has produced 2 Stakes Winners whilst the SO YOU THINK over DANEHILL (the sire of Exceed And Excel) Broodmares has produced 21 Stakes Winners including 7 Gr1 Winners.
Then the next prerequisite is that every champion needs to have a story. Followers of Dynamic Syndications and the 18 shareholders already in the co-ownership know that this Colt has a terrific tale to tell.
At the 2025 Magic Millions Sales, he was a late in the catalogue as Lot 1004 scheduled in the final hour.
Considering his outstanding conformation and the strength and depth of the female family and pedigree genetics scoring A+ 787% plus we had him vetted as Sound and Right of Wind and Limb, this colt we eventually secured was at a price representing to the team at Dynamic a 47% discount to our market appraisal of his true commercial value. We had already purchased 10 yearlings by that point, and we considered we had spent our budget for the whole Magic Millions sale.
So, we were reluctant to buy another one to take home. In fact, to ensure we were disciplined and would not have been tempted to bid on him, we had left the complex.
We valued the colt at $160,000 (plus 1 bid up to $170,000) (2.0 x $85,000 + GST = $93,500 Conception Service Fee).
He was well above average on conformation, and the pedigree was excellent. We were stunned when the horse was Passed-In on a bid of $70,000 with a Reserve of $150,000. Yes, to us he was worth every cent of that reserve price, but we didn’t want to add another $150,000 to what we already owed Magic Millions by that stage. The Main Session 1 of the sale concluded that Friday evening and Session 2 was be held over Sunday & Monday.
We noted on the Saturday morning the horse was still not sold. We buy a lot of horses from Coolmore having achieved tremendous success. So, we rang our contact and inquired about the colt. Their team were convinced they would sell him over the next few days at their reserve price. We wished them well.
Coolmore elected to leave the colt at the sale ground with their Book 2 draft, believing they would parade him to a potential buyer looking at the lesser quality Book 2 draft. The Book 2 sale Day 1 concluded Sunday and we noted on Monday morning he wasn't sold. Then Monday afternoon Book 2 concluded and on the Magic Millions website he was still showing unsold.
Within 5 minutes of the final lot walking through the salering our phone rang and my contact at Coolmore advised us they would prefer to sell him than take him home. They knew we had genuine interest in the colt but were not interested at their reserve price as we had spent our budget on 10 earlier yearlings.
After some negotiations we secured the colt for $85,000 + GST. That's not a misprint!
That was the cost of service fee! Coolmore are genuine sellers, and we were the only buyer available.
Such is our close association with COOLMORE reluctantly they agreed to sell him to us.
To purchase this horse for $85,000 (+ GST) was less than the cost of production. We believe we secured the best quality individual we saw by the sire at the Magic Millions sale in 2025, that also met our strict pedigree genetics balance, and we had purchased him at a 47% discount to our valuation and this represented great buying that we pass onto our Dynamic owners.
We got the horse we wanted, albeit we didn’t want to take home 11 yearlings from the sale, the opportunity to buy him was far too compelling.
Now to add to the appeal, because we have made him the FINAL OFFERING of 2025, as a way of saying thank you to the ownership team that will race him, Dynamic Syndications has waivered our margin we would earn. That has kept the price down to just $7,900 (inc GST) for a 5% Share whilst a 2.5% Share is just $3,950.
We are 90% Sold (18 of the 20 Shares have been claimed).
We have just 2 Shares to go to complete our promotions in 2025.

There is no guess work with this Colt.
He has ticked all the boxes.
He has been in and out of pre-training on 3 occasions and is ready to head into the Ciaron Maher Stables to be polished up to sparkle in the track.

We invite you to join us in racehorse ownership.
