A member of the Dynamic Syndications team, Teleplay was trained by MICK PRICE & MICK KENT Jnr and proved to be one of the finest sprinting mares of last year's Melbourne Spring Carnival with back to back Group 3 wins.
On Melbourne Cup Day in 2018 she won the MSS Security Sprint LR 1200m.

12 months later, on Melbourne Cup Day 2019 she scored an easy win against a quality line up of mares in the Maybe Mahal Stakes Gr3 1400m.

Then at her next start, she took on Weight-For-Age class and downed crack sprinters Home of the Brave and Hey Doc in the Gr3 Heffernan Stakes at Sandown 1300m.

A daughter of leading sire Written Tycoon, Teleplay has been identified as the second highest performed / commercially bred daughter of Written Tycoon to ever be offered for sale at public auction. Only Written Tycoon’s Gr1 winning daughter Booker who sold for $1.6m had a stronger race performance.
Teleplay boasts 5 wins including 3 Stakes Wins. She is a dual Gr3 wins, and a Listed Winner and she was also Gr3 placed in the Mannerism Stakes at 1400m.
Teleplay amassed earnings of $442,150.
Along with her first-class racing record, Teleplay possesses an outstanding pedigree.
Her dam SPECIAL EPISODE by Redoute's Choice, is a 1200m winning daughter of dual Gr1 Winner EPISODE.
Special Episode is a half-sister to former brilliant Gr1 winning race filly FIRST SEAL.
First Seal had her first foal, a colt by Snitzel sell at Inglis Easter this year for $1,800,000.
Despite several expressions of interest from leading commercial breeders to buy her privately, a decision was made by the owners to offer Teleplay for sale at public auction as a racing / breeding prospect ahead of the 2020 breeding season.
Teleplay remains totally sound for racing and a spring carnival assault is still an option should Teleplay not reach her true market value.
