Huge Result For Dynamic Owners in Breeders Plate and Premier Stakes

Investing in fillies can have wonderful upside for owners, even when your filly is enjoying the sun on its back in a spelling paddock.

Two Dynamic Syndication owned horses saw half-relations win Stakes Races adding significantly to our horse’s commercial value without expending any energy in the process.

ALTERCATION

ESPIONAGE won the Gr3 ATC Breeders Plate on Saturday, the stallion making 2yo race and first stakes race of the new season for the 2yo colts.

ESPIONAGE is by ZOUSTAR ex IN TIMES OF WAR (by Street Cry). He was bred by Gerry Harvey and sold for $1million at the Magic Millions in January this year.

IN TIMES OF WAR is out of the outstanding race filly MILITARY ROSE (by General Nediym). She was Second top filly on 2009-10 Australasian 2YO Classification. 6 wins-5 in succession at 2-1000m to 1200m, $1,626,900, STC Reisling S., Gr.2, Gold Coast Guineas, Gr.3, GCTC Magic Millions 2YO Classic, RL, BRC BJ McLachlan S., L, Calaway Gal S., L, Urban Event 2YO H., 3d MVRC Champagne S., Gr.3.

Adrian Bott the trainer of ESPIONAGE had told us that their stable always have had a huge opinion of the colt from the first time they put a saddle on his back, and he won his 2yo trial leading into the Breeders Plate. On that effort alone, the Magic Millions is within its grasp and all the major 2yo races of the Autumn. Should he be successful in further races he is a potential stallion prospect.

In 2022, Dynamic Syndications purchased the then yearling filly by AMERICAN PHAROAH ex IN TIMES OF WAR for $120,000. She was named ALTERCATION and is now a 3yo filly currently sitting in the spelling paddock. Our filly is trained by Ciaron Maher Racing.

Altercation

She is typical of the American Pharoah breed in that they are not early coming individuals and want a bit of age and distance to be effective. ALTERCATION did trial at Rosehill in July showing us plenty when finishing a close 2nd in her heat and with trial experience under her belt she was tipped back out to continue to furnish into her magnificent frame.

Now her pedigree page has bloomed with ESPIONAGE picking up this highly prized black-type making the family significantly more valuable.

KOKOSHNIK

THINK ABOUT IT a $70,000 Inglis Premier purchase, kept his black-type collection flowing when winning Gr2 Premier Stakes. It was the superstar’s 10th win from 11 races including 5 Stakes Wins and took his earnings to $3,430,175. A 5yo Bay Gelding, by SO YOU THINK from TIARE (by FASTNET ROCK) he was already a dual Gr1 winner, but this Gr2 win his first at this grade and was a lovely pipe opener ahead of The Everest where he certainly appears the horse to beat in that event.

THINK ABOUT IT (g by So You Think (NZ)) 10 wins to 1400m, A$3,430,175, to 2023-24, BRC Stradbroke H., Gr.1, Kingsford Smith Cup, Gr.1, ATC Premiere S., Gr.2, Liverpool City Cup, Gr.3, Gosford RC Takeover Target H., L, ATC Chandon H., Wild Oaks H., Vinery Yearlings H., 3d ATC Victor Ludorum at Darley H.

At the 2021 Inglis Classic Sale, Team Dynamic purchased a filly by Champion Sire PIERRO from TIARE for $140,000. At the time of purchase, Think About It had not been to the races. Our yearling purchase was named KOKOSHNIK and is now a 4yo mare. She has been to the races for a win, five seconds and 1 third from 10 starts and $59,350.

KOKOSHNIK is back in pre-training and whilst she is going through her light exercise programme, her elder half-brother keeps padding out the female family and her commercial value upon racetrack retirement will now be exceptional.

Whilst our Dynamic dual stakes winner I AM ME will now be heading to the Sydney Stakes Gr3 at Randwick on 14 October where James MacDonald has been booked for the saddle.
