Dynamic Syndications hit the bullseye with a barnstorming Queensland raid!
They say "patience is a virtue" — and JUMEIRAH BEACH proved just that with a devastating last-to-first victory at Doomben on Saturday, 12 April 2025 in the Precision Group Benchmark 70 Handicap (1615m).

JUMEIRAH BEACH was low flying when winning at Doomben
Trained by Jason Deamer at Newcastle, JUMEIRAH BEACH – our 6yo son of Pride of Dubai from Vormista was floated north for this mission — and it paid off in spades.
Unbelievably the races were abandoned shortly after we went past the winning post due to a significant storm that washed away any hope of the meeting continuing.
There were two issues prior to the race that had connections second guessing ourselves. Firstly, the track was officially a Soft 7 after heavy rain during the week and earlier in the day. However the jockeys after the first race were adamant that it was worse than that. A noted “duffer” in the wet going we were very tempted to late scratch JUMEIRAH BEACH as he just doesn’t handle it!
Then we had another conundrum as we needed to change jockey as Michael Rodd who had been booked was unable to fulfill his commitment.
After discussions with our trainer JASON DEAMER, we elected to send Damien Thornton out aboard JUMEIRAH BEACH and send our horse around despite not expecting him to stretch out in these wet conditions.
Jumping cleanly from barrier 9, jockey Damien Thornton immediately allowed our gelding to find his rhythm, drifting back to last of the 10 runners in the early stages. But from the 800m, the tide began to turn.

JUMEIRAH BEACH has his eye on the prize!

JUMEIRAH BEACH - in no danger
Jumeirah Beach down on the fence weaved through, saving ground but ploughing through the mud, gathering in the field with purpose. He surged up into fifth by the 400m, saving further ground close to the rail, before to connections amazement, he unleashed a powerful sprint to the inside in the inferior ground, to take the lead early in the straight. Over the final 200m, he kicked clear with authority, leaving rivals in his wake and charging home under an armchair ride to score a dominant victory.

Margin: Jumeirah Beach defeated Kaihoko by 1.74 lengths, with another 1.82 lengths back to The Right Way in third.
Track: Soft 7 | Time: 1:40.43 | Final 600m: 36.73
