JUST CINDY (2f Justify x Jenda’s Agenda, by Proud Citizen) gave
JUSTIFY (USA) a
second group stakes winner last Thursday with a victory in the
Gr3 Schuylerville Stakes 1200m.
JUST CINDY just too good in the Gr3 Schuylerville Stakes 1200m.
The Schuylerville Stakes is the first Group race run for juveniles fillies in North America in 2022, so
JUST CINDY has
precocity as well as ability.
The talented filly
JUST CINDY made it
two wins from two starts when taking out the
$175,000 Group 3.
JUST CINDY banked $96,250 for this victory.
JUST CINDY winning on debut at Churchill Downs
Trained by
Eddie Kenneally and piloted by Irad Ortiz, Jr., the
JUST CINDY was entering this race from a
2¼ -length debut win in a
1100m maiden special weight on June 17 at Churchill Downs. The filly beat favourite Summer Promise (Uncle Mo) by two and a quarter lengths, and in third place was Janis Joplin (California Chrome) who was yet another two lengths behind.
After an impressive debut victory at Churchill Downs, the filly handled the extra 50m distance without issue. Starting second favourite, she sat a few lengths off the duelling leaders down the back straight before gaining ground around the turn, to have her eye set on the lead by the time they straightened for the run home.
Just Cindy worked with the leader for much of the home straight before powering away over the final furlong to win by an
easy 2¼ lengths.
“It was great, and I think she’s still a little green too, so I think there’s a lot of raw talent there,” said trainer Eddie Kenneally’s foreman Kelly Wheeler said.
“She’s an exciting horse to have in the barn. She kind of got knocked around a little bit and she stayed professional and ran on. It’s really all you can ask for in a second-time starter.”
While there aren’t any concrete plans for her next start, an increase in distance is almost certainly in the cards.
“I think she’ll go longer – I don’t think that will be an issue at all. We kind of thought the added distance today wouldn’t be an issue at all, and it wasn’t,” Wheeler said.
Irad Ortiz, Jr., who recently secured his 19th NYRA riding title after posting 48 wins at the Belmont spring/summer meet, said he was impressed with his first experience aboard Just Cindy.
“The filly is really nice. She does everything right,” Ortiz, Jr. said.
“From the one post, she overcame everything and got there on time. When I asked her at the quarter pole, she did it.”
Just Cindy is out of the stakes winning Jenda’s Agenda. That mare Jenda’s Agenda has a yearling filly by
American Pharoah and a filly foal by
Mendelssohn.
Justify’s first crop has come out running in 2022.
Super young sire JUSTIFY (USA) considered "too valuable" to Shuttle to Australia in 2022
From 10 runners, he has four (4) winners and four (4) placegetters including three (3) stakes horses.
That group includes the stakes performing trio of
Group 2 Airlie Stud Stakes winner Statuette,
Group3 Schuylerville Stakes winner Just Cindy, and
Listed Fasig-Tipton Futurity runner-up Tahoma.
Considered
“too valuable” to be risked shuttling to
Coolmore Australia this spring,
JUSTIFY (USA) will have his first Australian runners next season and they are already appearing in leading stables as they progress from being broken-in after the yearling sales this year where they sold for up to $1million.
He has
38 entries for the 2023 Golden Slipper and among them is the $1million colt half-brother to dual Group 1 winner Loving Gaby.
This is great news for DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS!!!

STATUETTE became the
fourth winner and second Group winner from
dual Group 1 winning mare IMMORTAL VERSE (Ire) (by Pivotal), whose own career highlights included victories in the Gr1 Coronation S. and Gr1 Prix Jacques Le Marois.
IMMORTAL VERSE topped the 2013 Tattersalls December Mares sale when knocked down for
4.7m gns and is the leading performer for Listed Prix La Camargo victor and Gr3 Prix Fille de l'Air runner-up
SIDE OF PARADISE (Ire) (by Sadler's Wells).
SIDE OF PARADISE is a full-sister to Listed Rose Bowl S. winner
FLOWERDRUM (Ire) as well as being a half-sister to sire
LAST TYCOON (Ire) (Try My Best), also G3 Prix du Bois victor
THE PERFECT LIFE (Ire) (Try My Best) and dual Gr3 Goldene Peitsche-winning sire
ASTRONEF (Ire) (Be My Guest).
SIDE OF PARADISE is also closely related to the stakes-placed dam of Gr1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches heroine
Valentine Waltz (Ire) (by Be My Guest) and Gr1 Matron S. winner
SENSE OF STYLE (Thunder Gulch).
Black-type descendants of
STATUETTE’S third dam

HERMOSA (Ire) (by Galileo),
HYDRANGEA (Ire) (by Galileo),
THE UNITED STATES (Ire) (by Galileo) and
TIE BLACK (Ire) (by Machiavellian).
It is at this section of the
3rd Dam of the female family that
DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS filly by JUSTIFY x TINGU (FR) descends.
IMMORTAL VERSE whose leading progeny to date is a three-quarter sister to last season’s Gr1 Cheveley Park S. winner
TENEBRISM (by Caravaggio), has a Wootton Bassett colt on the ground and was bred back to
JUSTIFY last year.
This is a simply
brilliant female family that has been
cultivated and grown out by Coolmore Stud and is ranked in the top two families that Coolmore have developed.
Our team at Dynamic Syndications align and work closely with Coolmore Stud and we were very much aware of the strength and depth of this female family
TINGU (FR) is from and what was in the pipeline.
We believe in the stallion on both his racetrack ability and his genetic
balance. When you match this information to a sensational type of
individual, who is then passed sound and right in wind and limb by your
vet, the confidence grows.
The
only question mark on dirt raced North American horses is
"how their progeny will handle turf?"
STATUETTE has smashed away that fear when
she demolished her peers twice including at Gr2 level. Whilst
UNLESS ran third on debut at Leopardstown
What is
most exciting about
JUSTIFY two-year olds is that
they are winning these early 2yo races.
JUSTIFY didn’t race as a 2yo himself and was
a brilliant racehorse from 1400m to 2400m. He won 6 races in 6 starts including 4 Gr1 Wins by a combined margin of 24 lengths!
Our daughter of JUSTIFY ex TINGU
(FR) is from this sensational female family and as we state on our
website pages about the filly;
“You don’t buy into fillies like this – you invest!”
5% Shares are $13,300 inc GST and includes ALL COSTS from purchase to 30 June 22.
Just have a look at this filly for yourself !
