Obviously its spurred on by massive increases in prizemoney across the globe.

The number one sale in the Northern Hemisphere has just wrapped up after 3 days of incredible sale which saw new benchmarks:

Total Turnover increased 12%

Total Numbers Sold up 4%

Median Sale Price was up a staggering 39% to 250,000 Guineas = $508,593 AUD

Average Sale Price was up an incredible 52% to 370,501 Guineas = $753,737 AUD

Whilst there was a new record Sale Price for a Yearling at the Sale:

Frankel Colt sold for 4,400,000 Guineas = $8,951,354 AUD

Wootton Bassett Colt Sold for 4,300,000 Guineas = $8,746,683 AUD

These trends have traditionally led the market forces here in Australia 4 months later.
