MAJOR ARTIE Salutes with Another Victory for Loyal Dynamic Owners

With a peach of a ride by inform jockey Rachel King, and the GAI WATERHOUSE “AO” and ADRIAN BOTT "bone and muscle" on display, their stable trained MAJOR ARTIE (3yo Bay Gelding by ARTIE SCHILLER (USA) from MAJOR CONQUEST) secured a never in doubt, effortless victory after leading throughout as $3.30 favourite to salute in Race 4, The Entrance Leagues Club Class 1 1600m event at Gosford on Wednesday afternoon.

Carrying the 59.5kgs Top Weight after claims and spotting all his peers weight, Rachel King delivered the perfect 10 out of 10 ride for a Gai Waterhouse galloper, rating him perfectly throughout and getting away with some very soft sectionals down the back straight which made it very difficult for those chasing. As a result, the shouts and cheers from a terrific team of enthusiastic Owners that were trackside could be heard on the TV coverage.






MAJOR ARTIE Winning at Gosford 27/1/21

The Dynamic Duo of Major Artie and Rachel King went to the post over the last 50m in not much more than an eased down canter to record a time of: 1:38.59 coming home in a slick last 600m: 0:35.73 on a Soft 5 surface defeating Butch’n’bugs by 0.77 length with Think Straight back in third 0.16 away and Dynamic Syndications runner Princess Marizza in fourth a further 0.13 length away and just 1.06 length from MAJOR ARTIE in a blanket finish for the minor placings.



MAJOR ARTIE was purchased by DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS on the GOLD COAST at the Magic Millions Dispersal Sale of the Estate of the Late Eduardo Cojuangco racing stock. Dynamic Syndications have an excellent working relationship with Gooree Park, and we thank Andrew Baddock and his team for their recommendation to us to purchase MAJOR ARTIE.

The $37,500 + GST purchase price has now returned a profit as MAJOR ARTIE has raced on 4 occasions for our new co-owners for 2 Wins, once third, once fourth and has added $67,195 in earnings for his new owners and has taken his overall race career to 6 starts: 2 wins, 2 thirds, 1 fourth and $74,195 including $16,875 in BOBS Bonuses.

This victory was our 697th Race Win and our 43rd for the current season and our 8th in January.
