Magic Millions Yearlings Tally 11 after Dynamic Add 3 More on Final Day

The fourth and final Day of the 2025 Magic Millions Yearling Sale Book 1 resulted in Dynamic Syndications buying an additional three (3) new yearlings to our team, taking our total purchases at the main sale of the Gold Coast to 11 yearlings.

We finished the Magic Millions with the following stats:

Note: We are delighted in what both JUST IN TIME and TIME FOR WINE have shown us to date. Therefore, it was fair the assume that we would be interested in this filly when she passed inspections.

Note: Dynamic Syndications purchased the full-sister last year from the same vendor and she has been named Percolate. This now 2yo filly has impressed the Ciaron Maher stable in early training and was on course to be aimed at the Magic Millions but we elected not to push her and aim at the Autumn 2yo races instead. The reports we have received back on the 2yo filly had encouraged us to aim at purchasing this younger full brother.

Again, Gerry Harvey had bred the horse and was selling under his Westbury Stud NZ banner. We spoke with Gerry prior to the horse entering the salering. The reserve was set at $225,000 and Gerry was prepared to retain 50% in the colt such was his opinion of what the horse was like and increased his standard equity position in this colt from a normal 25% share and has elected to buy-back in for 50%. This speaks volumes about the colt and the opinion the breeder has of him.

In Summation:

We arrived on the complex and started inspecting horses back on the 1st of January with the view of buying a half-dozen yearlings.

We inspected 337 yearlings that had qualified with genetic patterns that suited our needs. Then we reduced those to 97 yearlings to be vetted thoroughly. Several failed x-rays and / or endoscope. With those that remained on our list, we valued them and set our ceiling prices accordingly.

We now have 11 on the books.

The buying has been sensational value in a strong but thin market.

That offered a raft of opportunities which, having done our homework, had allowed us to swoop when they presented.
Share prices have been established and Product Disclosure Statements and Owners Deed will be submitted through to Racing NSW for approval. They will be made available once approval letters are returned to our office.

In the meantime, we will be registering potential owner interests in each yearling.

Already four of these yearlings are fully reserved whilst others are well on their way to being completed.
