More Valuable BLACK-TYPE Added to Pedigree of Our SHALAA (IRE) x TALENTED MISS 2yo Filly

One of the most exciting commercial pedigrees in the Australian Stud Book has grown fatter with the recent addition of even more up close saturated Bold Black-Type (results in stakes races recorded by the Stud Book) in the past few days.

As a result, the commercial value of our own SHALAA (IRE) x TALENTED MISS now 2yo bay filly continues to grow whilst our filly remains grazing in the paddock.

The mare SEASONS (Sebring x Acouplamas) added an extremely important and highly valuable Gr3 placing in the ATC Toy Show at Randwick.

Whilst this gifted racemare had already earned minor black type when she finished fourth in the Gr3 ATC Birthday Card at her most recent start in March prior to going for a short break, this was the first addition of her name becoming Bold Black Type into the pedigree page.

SEASONS

SEASONS was a genuine case of a certainty beaten when she finished just 0.3 lengths from the winner Sweet Deal despite being locked up with nowhere to go over the final 150m of her race.

SEASONS certainly looks set for a promising Spring carnival ahead.

Whilst ROCHA CLOCK, another mare in this family whom last preparation added a stakes-placing to this female family, trialled strongly at Randwick ahead of her Spring Carnival targets.

Our SHALAA (IRE) x TALENTED MISS filly is the “Dream Purchase” that professional buyers search for.

She has seen massive saturation of Black Type and as a result, our filly’s own commercial value has achieved a massive 100% increase since we swooped to secure her in January at the Magic Millions.

Simply if our filly was to be sold through an auction sale today rather than in January, the competition for her would increase and she would sell for twice as much as we paid for her.

SHALAA (IRE) First Crop Sire in Australia

Her sire SHALAA (IRE) (by Invincible Spirit) was the Champion 2yo of England and France in 2015 and his eagerly awaited oldest Australian crop have just turned 2yo’s. Standing at Arrowfield Stud on a shuttle arrangement for $33,000 Service Fee the wraps on them as types and now on what they are showing in training is extremely positive.

He could not be off to a better start to a stallion career of SHALAA (IRE) in the Northern Hemisphere where he has already sired 7 winners and 12 placed runners including a Gr2 placegetter and a Gr3 performer.

However, it’s the female side of a pedigree which determines commercial value and our filly’s pedigree has exploded in black-type over the past few months.

TALENTED MISS (by AL MAHER) the Dam of our filly, was a winner of 2 races. Our filly is her first foal.

TALENTED MISS is the Full-Sister to ACOUPLAMAS (the name is pronounced A-Couple-of-Mars).

ACOUPLAMAS

Dynamic Syndications purchased ACOUPLAMAS as a yearling and raced her with success.

She earned black type herself before being sold as a breeding prospect after she retired from racing.

QUICK THINKER

Since we purchased our filly in January, ACOUPLAMAS produced a So You Think colt named QUICK THINKER to win the Gr1 ATC Derby and Gr2 ATC Tulloch Stakes.

ACOUPLAMAS had already produced another Stakes-placed youngster named THE AUGUST.

THE AUGUST

Since we purchased our filly, THE AUGUST was exported to Singapore where he has subsequently won taking his tally to 3 wins.

Now ACOUPLAMAS has added further black type as a broodmare thanks to the abovementioned Stakes Placing with SEASONS to this strong female pedigree.

The commercial value of our filly has literally doubled with the addition of these major race success updates which has become a significant advantage for our loyal Dynamic Owners that will own and race this filly.

Dynamic Syndications would never increase the share price to reflect this increase in commercial value despite the 100% increase.

That’s a WIN for our owners to instantly enjoy and financially benefit from.

Importantly our filly’s residual value is now well assured because ANY commercial breeder who ultimately purchases her as a broodmare when her racing days with Dynamic Syndications conclude, should they choose to send her to SO YOU THINK, genetically they will create a 3/4 relation-in-blood to Gr1 ATC Derby winner QUICK THINKER and that magical pedigree as a commercial yearling, would be of Easter standard where Australia’s most expensive yearlings are offered for sale.

This has made our SHALAA (IRE) x TALENTED MISS 2yo Bay Filly a “gilt-edged” equine investment.

Our filly’s owners will have the security that she will be an in-demand mare even if she didn’t reach top standard on the racetrack.
