Introducing: JAZIRAT (Release date 12 June 2020)
"Ready To Win - she has her hoof on the till !"
A Spectacular 3YO FILLY Purchased from GODOLPHIN in FULL WORK & raced 4 JUNE 2020
Last start Runner-Up at Wyong on Thursday 4th June over 1600m
JAZARAT pre-race at Newcastle for her third race start
She has been transferred to trainer
CIARON MAHER RACING and will be trained from their
Warwick Farm Stables.
JAZIRAT arrived from the sales to Ciaron Maher’s stables on 10 June 2020.
JAZIRAT at Crown Lodge prior to the sale
JAZIRAT is a lovely big filly, 16.2hh, strong, built to her pedigree page, she’s a magnificent looking middle-distance athlete.
Typical of what you expect to find within Godolphin system, she is all quality and is just starting to now mature into her athletic frame.
Her best racing days are all in front of her at distances between
1600m to 2400m.

JAZIRAT was one of 17 horses being dispersed by
GODOLPHIN to make way for their new crop of rising 2yo’s coming into their training system. When existing horses arrive at the end of their 3yo season, the high majority are offered for sale with full transparency into the open market for unreserved sale, to make way for their new crop.
We had done our due diligence work and veterinary inspections and from what we uncovered, there were two (2) horses on offer that we wanted to buy.
Our primary goal was JAZIRAT and we achieved our result buying her for
$77,000 including GST at what we consider was excellent value.
The second horse we were interested in sold for well above our market appraisal.
Here is an introduction about JAZIRAT from ADAM WATT:
Jazirat from Dynamic Syndications on Vimeo.
We have had terrific success for our Dynamic owners, buying from GODOLPHIN and over the past few years we have purchased these following five (5) horses to see them go on and win for our ownership teams. They were:
WITCHES, LUNAR SPIN, CHILCOTIN, MIAMI DADE and RESORT.
Witches winning an Evening Star event at Canterbury
Happy Dynamic Co-Owners of Witches in the Winner's Circle!
We have such confidence in
JAZIRAT, and she appears so promising, we feel she has the most upside of any of our purchases from Godolphin to date.
We also believe she will be a far better older horse, once she has fully matured. She is still got improvement to come both physically and in racecraft experience which is fantastic to have this upside.
Whilst she has only raced on 4 occasions (all this preparation), the first two races were over unsuitable 1200m events, where she was obviously placed to build a base foundation fitness.
Then at her third race start at 1300m again to short, she worked home, and we believed this run at Newcastle had big flashing lights on it, as a horse to follow once the trip gets out over more distance of at least a mile and further.
Then just 6 days before the sale on Thursday 4th June, she was up to 1600m and it was the first time she had a more suitable distance and it was the first time she had blinkers applied.
She should have won by a country mile!
I’ll let you be the judge of what a wonderful effort she produced in that race, from where she is on settling and in the run and then, the passage she took, she ended up covering more ground than the early explorers.
4th Start: JAZIRAT running 2nd over over 1600m at Wyong

Q) Do you know from our perspective what was the best part of her recent start second placing at Wyong?
A) "She didn’t win!"
That’s fantastic for us, not so much for GODOLPHIN, as
we still have this Maiden win available for her to collect for Dynamic Owners.
With these reasons outlined above, it’s easy to see how we believe
JAZIRAT represented outstanding value when we purchased her for
$70,000 + GST = $77,000
Immediate Fun, Excitement, Glamour and Ready to Race as soon as possible.

EARNING POTENTIAL / BOBS & BOBS Extra
Another important aspect that interested us in
JAZIRAT was the fact she is
paid up for both BOBS and most importantly, BOBS Extra.
This is the
Bonus Prizemoney available on top of the advertised race prizemoney.
BOBS Bonuses are for 2yo’s and 3yo’s but run out at the end of the 3yo season. However, BOBS Extra bonuses then commence for 4yo’s and older horses, at distances from 1800m and further.
This is going to be JAZIRAT’s perfect trips.
With the
BOBS Extra, the prizemoney earnings for Owners are:
Where First BOBS Win Total
NSW Country TAB Meeting $11,200 $4,000 $15,200
NSW Provincial $16,740 $4,000 $20,740
Mid-Week $22,000 $8,000 $30,000
Saturday $58,000 $16,000 $74,000
Without shooting for the stars, by
going through her grades and putting photos on the wall she could
win a lot of money before she has to take on better class opposition by which time she could have well and truly paid her way.
RESIDUAL VALUE
Not only is the
prizemoney available plus BOBS bonuses making this filly a
very attractive racing prospect but when her racing days conclude, she has a commercial pedigree backing her to ensure
residual value as a broodmare.
PEDIGREE REVIEW
She will be desirable not only on pedigree but also on type. Being such a lovely tall, scopey, athletic individual, with excellent conformation, she will let down into a fantastic looking broodmare capable of producing sensational looking foals.
Astute commercial buyers will love to have access to a mare like JAZIRAT.
Pedigree wise she is by
SHOOTING TO WIN a son of
NORTHERN METEOR, himself a son of
Champion Sire ENCOSTA DE LAGO.
SHOOTING TO WIN is a
full-brother to super young sire
DEEP FIELD.
SHOOTING TO WIN won
4 races including the
Caulfield Guineas Gr1 1600m.
JAZIRAT is a daughter of
ALZIRA (NZ). She was unraced. She is a half-sister to excellent middle-distance racehorse
PENDRAGON – a Gr3 Winning, Gr1 placed racehorse. He won the STC Gloaming Gr3 1800m and the MVRC Norman Robinson S., Gr3 2000m. He was runner up in the Spring Champion Stakes Gr1 2000m and 4th in the VRC Derby Gr1 2500m.
As a broodmare
ALZIRA has produced 6 foals to race
5 Winners plus
JAZIRAT who is placed, so the mare is doing a top job.
JAZIRAT’s 2nd Dam is Gr1 Winner
ALACRITY (by Grosvenor) –
Champion 3YO filly in Australasia in 95-96, NZ Filly of the Year and winner of 5 races including the Gr1 NZ Oaks 2400m, Sir Tristram Classic Gr2, Royal Stakes Gr3
ALACRITY is a half-sister to Stakes Winner
THE BULLFIGHTER – THE KINGFISHER and to stakes winner
SYMPOSE.
VETERINARY REPORT
Dr Tim Roberts inspected the filly for us at the Inglis Sales Complex on Monday afternoon 8th June.
Dr Tim Roberts
Tim advised: She was a well conformed filly. Tall, standing approximately 16.2hh, athletic, rangy, scopey, staying type, covering good ground. She has an excellent length of rein, deep girth, strong shoulder, good hip to hock length and a good straight hind leg conformation. She was presented in excellent condition, especially considering that the filly has raced four times this preparation and had raced four (4) days prior over 1600m.
Dr Tim Roberts in the process of inspecting JAZIRAT
Dr Tim and JAZIRAT
Dr Tim listening to ensure JAZIRAT has a regular heart beat
JAZIRAT has been in full training and racing well. All clinical parameters were found to be within normal limits. She was examined in hand and was found to be free moving. Flexion tests were within normal limits. Stethoscope examination of heartbeat was normal. There was no clinical evidence of wear or injury to extremities. Full disclosure of this horse’s veterinary history by Godolphin was available for inspection. Having read the file there were no historical issues of any significance noted.
Tim examined endoscopic review of the upper respiratory tract and the larynx and pharynx were found to be normal in appearance and function. PASS - Grade 2
Conclusion: In my opinion, at the time of this examination, Lot 18, JAZIRAT – a 3YO Filly by SHOOTING TO WIN ex ALZIRA (NZ), is in so far as can be determined from the examination conducted, suitable for racing and public syndication and as such, is therefore suitable for all risk mortality insurance cover. I advised Dynamic Syndications that in my opinion this lot was suitable for purchase.
