Our 300th INDIVIDUAL WINNER as DEAMER Delivers for DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS

Newcastle based trainer JASON DEAMER and DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS have a lot of success together, and the Dynamic Duo were back in the Winners Circle on Saturday at Tuncurry – Forster with our galloper AWESOME TYCOON who was facing the starter for his second career start.

With Ben Looker in the saddle, AWESOME TYCOON (4yo Brown Gelding - by WRITTEN TYCOON from SENSIBLE LADY (USA)), (59.0kgs) ($2.40 Fav) made it appear not much more than an exhibition gallop, as they crossed the line 3.31 lengths ahead of Rose Brea (56.0kgs) with Everyready Bunny (53.0kgs) 4.12 Lengths in third.

AWESOME TYCOON won race 4 - the FORSTER BOWLING CLUB MAIDEN HANDICAP (1400m) on a Heavy 8 surface in a Time of: 1:25.86 with an eased down Last 600m: 38.33.

Importantly for his owners, AWESOME TYCOON put his first photo on the wall at his second career, start having done things wrong on debut when finishing 3rd.

AWESOME TYCOON promised a lot early but suffered an injury that prevented him making it to the track as a younger horse.

Patience is a virtue, so the saying goes, and it certainly is a big advantage in the racing game. So, it was wonderful to see AWESOME TYCOON salute in such a dominant fashion for his loyal ownership team.

It was also a Landmark Win for DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS as AWESOME TYCOON became our 300th Individual Race Winner from 338 Individual Runners which is a Strike Rate of 88.8% Winners:Runners since our first runner went to the races in October 2005.

As simple as shelling peas, and despite drifting from $1.70 to $2.40, AWESOME TYCOON never looked in danger and as soon as he saw daylight from back in the ruck, in five strides he cruised to the lead and the race was over, with only the margin recorded in doubt. A jog, trot, canter across the line was good enough to score a widening margin.

Jumping away cleanly, and in a forward position on settling, Ben Looker took hold of AWESOME TYCOON and the pair drifted back to midfield after the first 200m.

Passing the 900m point and heading into the top turn AWESOME TYCOON had got back 6 lengths off the lead, as Ben put our boy to sleep, teaching him not to get up and pulling and to relax in his work.

Then, he had an uninterrupted transit, as Ben pushed forward from the 600m mark and made ground two off the fence, as they swung into the home straight. As they balanced for the run home at the 350m, Ben angled AWESOME TYCOON off the heels of the leading trio and pushed the runner on his outside out of the way and once AWESOME TYCOON saw daylight it was all over.
From the 300m to the 250m, AWESOME TYCOON just ambled up to the leaders, then passing the 200m he was asked for an effort by Ben Looker and our horse dashed away on the Heavy 8 track.

With 100m to run, AWESOME TYCOON dropped the field and went to the post under his own steam.

JOB DONE!

Ben Looker reported to the Ownership Team: “He was very, very good. The tempo was nice. I just came back that one extra pair to get him to travel in amongst them. Also, just educational. He was very comfortable in amongst them. I had a good run through from the 600m; got to them very easily; and went passed them quickly, but he was still stargazing a bit. The penny still hasn’t dropped in him yet. He’s a lovely looking horse, prepared really well, and he’s got a nice future going forward.”

For our DYNAMIC OWNERS, at the Magic Millions Sale Dynamic Syndications purchased a colossal Colt for JASON DEAMER to train.

This Magic Millions and BOBS eligible Colt is the first foal from a Winning mare at 1200m.

From a brilliant Female Family in South Africa, our Colt’s Second Dam is the Gr1 Winning 2yo Filly - HAPPY VALENTINE; herself a 3/4 Sister to Gr2 Winner & Gr1 Placed - HAPPY SPIRIT and a 1/2 Sister to Gr2 Winning dual Gr1 Placed - HAPPY FOREVER.

The reason we were attracted to this Colt in the first instance was that Lot 729 was the Best Bred Genetically in the Arrowfield draft. He rated an impressive A+++ by Genetics, A+++ by Geographical performances and Q7 on depth of pedigree. That placed him in the Top 5 lots in the whole catalogue by balance of pedigree. Then when we saw him, in our opinion he was the best yearling on type we found through the Arrowfield Stud draft at the sale. He is just a beautiful horse.

A product of a Joint venture between the breeder Hermitage and Arrowfield Stud, he was sent for sale to meet the market.

By THE AUTUMN SUN (Redoute’s Choice) the champion racehorse is doing a good job as a young 2nd Crop sire. He is currently in 3rd spot on the second crop sire’s premiership list by Winners and Earnings (Trapeze Artist, Justify). He has 2 stakes winners this season, with 14 winners at a strike rate of 30.4%. He stands at stud for $66,000.

GRAVITY ZERO (by More Than Ready) is the Dam of our colt. A Winner at 1200m, this is her First Foal.

She hails from a wonderful South African female pedigree. This is a deep black-type female family. The genetic cross is sensational.

A Pedigree not instantly recognisable in Australia, the genetics are superb, and the individual matched the rating score. He was rated an 8 by our team which matched the highest rating we gave to any horse at the sale.

We believed JASON DEAMER deserves such a fantastic yearling to join his stable, and we had no hesitation offering Jason the Colt to train for us.
