At the Inglis Melbourne Great Southern Weanling Sale, Widden Stud's ZOUSTAR was the dominant force this week, finishing as leading sire by aggregate and average as well as siring the equal highest priced colt at $250,000 and top priced filly at $200,000 when Zoustar's eight weanlings sold for $1,116,000 at an average $139,500.

There were 19 offered at this sale – 16 sold for an average of $127,813 and a Median of $127,500. They realised $255,000, $200,000, $190,000, $170,000, $165,000, $160,000, $150,000, $135,000, $120,000, $100,000, $100,000, $85,000, $75,000, $62,000, $50,000, $28,000.

There were 6 offered at this sale – 5 sold and 1 passed-in.

The average was $100,600 with a medium at $100,000.

They have sold for $155,000, $130,000, $100,000 $60,000 and $58,000.

Whilst the best Weanling by the sire didn’t meet the reserve. That result was: Passed $240,000 – Reserve $250,000
