PROVE MY LOVE (2f Justify x Mo Chuisle, by Free House) has become the
Ninth (9th) Individual Winner for
USA Triple Crown winner JUSTIFY on Thursday when victorious at Delaware Park in a Maiden Special Weight event.
The filly was facing the starter for the second career start after an encouraging 5th place debut run.
As the gates crashed back the heavily backed favourite
Prove My Love immediately speared to the lead in the five-furlong (1000m) turf race easily dealing with the early pressure from her rivals.
Never headed throughout the run,
Prove My Love kicked away at the top of the straight, putting a margin on her immediate chasers and then a huge gap on the balance of the field.
With the advantage created,
Prove My Love over the final 100m was afforded an
eased down run to the line, allowing her runner-up to get to a
length as the photo flashed, whilst the third placed runner was a massive
6¾ lengths behind
Prove My Love.

Despite the ease of the win,
Prove My Love stopped the clock at a slick
57.09 secs.
A true Sire Sensation, nobody could predict the
brilliant start JUSTIFY would have at stud with precocious 2yo’s over short course trips.
An undefeated champion racehorse and 4-time Gr1 Winner from 6 race starts, including the US Triple Crown of the Preakness, Kentucky Derby and Belmont S., these middle distance wins didn’t suggest he would
sire 1000m early season 2yo winners, but true champions can do anything and now with
9 individual winners from 25 Starters (36%) the proof is there.
