Each year at the Yearling Sales,
Team Dynamic strives to identify and then secure a select few individuals to be aimed at the CLASSIC Races in their 3yo season.
Those Blue Riband events that the true racing enthusiast dreams of competing in, of owning a racehorse defined as a breed shaper. A true elite individual that sets the standard of its generation, along with the prestige and riches that come along with that success.
Particularly when it comes to the big Gr1 races such as: Guineas, Derbies and Oaks.
In Australia, it’s vital to recognise that
less than 15% of each foal crop every year is bred to be capable of competing at these distances and certainly, its much less than that which have the necessary class required to line up in such races.
They must have the
pedigree to be genetically different. Capable of showing
tough staying qualities along with the necessary brilliance to have a
turn of foot that can put their peers away in a blink of an eye, that illusionary
“extra gear” reserved for those truly special equine athletes.
They need to have a touch of
precocity in their genes, that these
“bred in the purple” CLASSIC winners all have pulsing through their veins.
On the rare occasion, it may be just dumb luck, a fluke. However, the high majority of
success is created because the future belongs to those who plan for it,
So these wonderful thoroughbreds have been
purposely bred, thanks to a
meticulous mating plan by their breeder and years of
horse husbandry care in delivering the
best outcomes so their
dream as a breeder can be realised, as much as the
dreams of the owners, who race their prized thoroughbred.
In 2020, Dynamic Syndications purchased a yearling filly at the Magic Millions that we have pinned out hopes and dreams upon.
A filly which we trust will allow our owners to stand on the podium, to be congratulated collectively by their peers, industry elite, and the mass media, as their horse goes down in record books for eternity.
We truly believe in the special filly we purchased, that she may well have us standing on that podium in 12 months time.
That filly is our sensationally bred and lovely looking SHALAA (IRE) x TALENTED MISS Bay Filly.
SHAALAA (IRE) x TALENTED MISS Bay Filly
Already this filly has
"doubled in commercial value" since we purchased her whilst she was grazing in the spelling paddock thanks to the deeds of her Sire’s First Crop 2yo’s running in Europe and thanks to the deeds of close relations in the Female Family.
How? In human terms, its through the deeds of what us humans would describe as a cousin.
In thoroughbred terms, it’s the deeds of our filly’s Dam (Mother), her Full Sister’s (Aunt) progeny (Children – i.e. Cousins).
In particular, a more than handy galloper named
QUICK THINKER (by SO YOU THINK).
QUICK THINKER winning the ATC Derby 2400m Gr1 on 4 April 20.
QUICK THINKER was already a good horse when we purchased our
SHALAA filly at the Magic Millions in January 2020. However, in a few short weeks after we purchased her,
QUICK THINKER went on to win two (2) very exciting races. They were the
ATC Tulloch Stakes Gr2 and then, arguably one of the
most important and most prestigious race of the year for a 3yo, the ATC DERBY Gr1 2400m.
Our Filly’s dam is
TALENTED MISS, a winner of two races out to a mile.
TALENTED MISS
Dynamic Syndications are very close to this family, as the
Full Sister to TALENTED MISS is a mare named
ACOUPLAMAS (pronounced
A-Couple-of-Mars) which
Dynamic Syndications purchased as a yearling and raced on to be a multiple winner and Stakes Placed.
ACOUPLAMAS in Dynamic Colours
ACOUPLAMAS is the Dam of QUICK THINKER.
This family has a wonderful gene pool and
the mating of SHALAA over TALENTED MISS delivers incredible opportunity.
For those breeding buffs among us, no matter what deeds our filly ultimately produces on the racetrack, when she retires to become a broodmare, should she be covered by
SO YOU THINK the breeder is creating an
extremely valuable and highly commercial, genetic 3/4 relation to QUICK THINKER.
So, our filly’s value as a breeding prospect is certain,
ensuring excellent residual.
Also, since we purchased our filly, another cousin named
SEASONS, a half-sister to QUICK THINKER, who was already the winner of 4 races, also added black-type to the pedigree page when a close 4th in the
Gr3 ATC Birthday Card Stakes. Whilst yet another close relative,
ROCHA CLOCK has added Black-Type to the pedigree page when runner-up in the
Scone Inglis 3YO Classic LR.
SHALAA (IRE) (by Invincible Spirit) the sire of our filly, is an exciting first crop sire.
He is doing a very good job with his first crop progeny in Europe. He has produced
10 runners to have already won or placed.
SHALAA (IRE) - Sire
Invincible Spirit the sire of Shalaa (IRE) is a champion Northern Hemisphere based sire and his deeds are best known here in Australia through his legendary son
I AM INVINCIBLE.
Most importantly, SHALAA (IRE) is the BEST 2YO EVER by INVINCIBLE SPIRIT.
Genetically he should deliver the necessary precocity and turn of foot to our filly.
This is the type of filly you don’t buy into – you invest!
A filly with magnificent looks, terrific conformation, size and strength. A filly with a commercially pleasing pedigree and a pedigree genetically desirable to be a success. A filly that will be in demand from commercial breeders when her race days conclude because she can produce a 3/4 relation to the 2020 ATC Derby Winner.
There is no guess work here as this filly has excited her educator from the moment he put a saddle on her back. She is a filly that floats along with a long, effortless stride, a filly that covers good ground with superb action, a filly that is intelligent and eager to please, a filly that gives every early indication she is way above average – an A+++ individual.
Last week we called into
Shane Rose’s Bimbadeen Park to view the filly Shane Rose has been buzzing about, and to capture up to date pictures of this super filly in action, to allow Dynamic followers an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of this filly under saddle.
SHALAA (IRE) x TALENTED MISS Bay Filly at Bimbadeen Park - 29 July 2020
Despite being in the depths of winter, and possessing her think winter coat,
observers will instantly recognise her athleticism, she is all class.
SHANE ROSE in the saddle putting our filly through pre-training
Despite
doubling in commercial value since we purchased her in early January, the
share price has not changed which ensures her owners are receiving sensational value for money when they invest into such a fabulous filly.
Our SHALAA (IRE) Filly teams up with workmate our Deep Field x Zarinia Filly at Bimbadeen Park
In training - Both these fillies are "Light on their feet" as they float along !
5% Shares are $8,880 inc GST and ALL COSTS to 31 October 2020. After that date costs average $10.00 per day.
This is
outstanding value on a filly that appears destined for success.
To achieve this racetrack reward, we have placed the filly in the care of the
leading Waterhouse / Bott Stable. Gai and Adrian will put the polish our filly as we aim for major
CLASSIC contention.
We invite you to join us. Don’t miss out, you owe it to yourself to be involved in this filly.
