With Tommy Berry in the saddle, the daughter of
SAVABEEL came with a barnstorming finish from the rear of the field to defeat Girl Tuesday (Street Cry) by three-quarters of a length with Spencer (Pierro) back in third.
Purchased for $220,000 out of the
Waikato Stud draft at the 2016 NZB Premier Yearling sale, Savacool advances her record to 6 wins, 9 seconds and 2 thirds from 28 starts with earnings of $501,675.
Savacool is the best of five winners from six to race out of the unraced Anabaa (USA) mare
CHILLED OUT who is a half-sister to the very talented
O’Reilly mare The Big Chill who won the Listed VRC Red Roses Stakes and placed in the Group 1 MVRC Manikato Stakes and Group 1 SAJC Goodwood Hcp.
The Big Chill’s sister Forty Two Below was mated to Savabeel and produced the
dual Group 2 winner Coldplay.
Chilled Out has a 2yo filly and a
yearling colt by Savabeel and is due to foal to Ocean Park this spring.
SAVABEEL - Sire of 100 Stakes Winners
Savabeel’s 100 stakes-winners includes 20 at Group 1 level.
His best cross as a Sire is when he is mated to O’Reilly mares.
That mating pattern has produced
14 Stakes Winners including 4 Gr1 Winners.
DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS are currently well advanced in the syndication of a magnificent SAVABEEL Filly, a first foal out of the twice winning city class mare BINGO (by O’Reilly).
SAVABEEL x BINGO Filly
We have given our filly to
trainer RICHARD FREEDMAN. Together the
Freedman Brothers / Dynamic Syndications combination is producing a heap of winners and this filly has all the attributes to add to this success, along with a wonderful pedigree to ensure residual as a breeding prospect when her racing days conclude.
SAVABEEL is the 6-time champion stallion in NZ and last season stood for a $125,000 service fee.
Dynamic Syndications boss Dean Watt syndicated SAVABEEL as a yearling to see him go on to win the Gr1 Cox Plate and Gr1 Spring Champion Stakes. He converted that racetrack presence into being one of the best sires in the Southern Hemisphere.
