What a WIN by Dynamic SENSATIONALISATION our
4yo Brown Mare (by WRITTEN TYCOON from SHEER SENSATION) who made it a one act affair to post a new
Class Record at
Doomben on Monday 4 April, when demoralising her peers to claim Race 5 the
KENO LET'S PLAY Class 2 Plate 1350m on a Soft 5 surface.
Sensationalisation scores Sensational Win
SENSATIONALISATION 57.0kgs ($5.0) ridden by
jet pilot Ryan Wiggins defeated Ghostwriter (54.5kgs) ($2.40 favourite) by 4 lengths with Flybridge (59.0kgs) ($10) 2.5 lengths further away in third spot.
On a Soft 5 surface, her time of
1:19.29 (Last 600m: 0:34.10) a new
Class Record to pick up the
$19,800 first place cheque.
Ridden by our Queensland
“go-too” jet pilot Ryan Wiggins, this
Dynamic Syndications mare peeled off a run that showed she was back to her best.
Leading from the time the barriers crashed back until the camera clicked for the print,
Ryan Wiggins and
SENSATIONALISATION were 3 or more grades above their peers in this event.
The plan was to be positive and take up a forward position, either sitting at the girth of the leader or one pair back. Being at Doomben with the rail out nine (9) metres, it was a day to lead or sit with the leaders, certainly not a day to get back in the ruck.
After the first 100m, Ryan had summed things up beautifully. The horse underneath him was the favourite who tried to go with
Sensationalisation but didn’t have the natural toe.
Ryan simply slipped some rein and
SENSATIONALISATION easily took control and it was all over bar the shouting from the 1200m.
Passing the 600m, Ryan had set a soft tempo and then urged
Sensationalisation to improve coming off the home bend. As they straightened for the run home, it was simply just a matter of how big a margin the judge would post on the semaphore board.
200m
Passing the 200m mark she was 3 lengths in advance of the field with nothing making ground.
100m
A look at the infield screen, Ryan could see how far in front he was, and was in a position to idle down and
cross the line a widening 4 lengths clear of the favourite, and 6.5 lengths in front of the third placed runner.

Win
Sensationalisation looked sensational in the pre-parade.
Our Dynamic Syndications JASON DEAMER trained mare had a glow to her coat and was tuned to the minute.
This is the second race start for
Jason Deamer since the mare came up from the
Price / Kent stables in Melbourne. She was brought north so she could take advantage of various racing opportunities that were more abundant here than in Victoria.
At her first run for Jason, our mare put in a solid effort to finish third at Canterbury. That day over 1250m on a Heavy 10 surface, she was shuffled back to the tail of the field, on a track that favoured leaders. She was asked to carry 58.0kgs spotting the winner 6.0kgs to go down by 2.4 lengths.
Fitter for that run and back on top of the surface and able to go forward without bustling on a track that was always going to suit leaders, our confidence was never in doubt. Add in a thinking ride by Ryan, plus a horse glowing in condition, the planets aligned as the race was never in doubt for her loyal team of owners:

A
$100,000 Yearling purchase by Dynamic Syndications from the 2019 Inglis Classic Sale, this win crashed her through the
$200,000 prizemoney ceiling.
Her career now reads: 16 starts: 3 Wins, 2 Seconds, 3 Thirds and earned $205,775 Prizemoney.

On today’s hollow win, there certainly looks to be more wins ahead for
our Dynamic Mare, and
loyal team of owners.
Credit where it’s due,
Adam Watt from Dynamic Syndications identified this race 4 weeks earlier and along with Jason Deamer had planned the trip with military precision, to have the horse land in Brisbane at the top of her game.
Thrown into the race on her formlines from Victoria and NSW, and under these Set Weights of the Class 2 Plate, she was thrown in here when only carrying 56.5kgs. She was also holding a nomination for a race last Saturday at Eagle Farm, but with an eye on the weather, plus an analysis of the form, this race appeared to be simply put in – take out and that’s exactly how it panned out.
This win by SENSATIONALISATION was our 756th Race Win and our 30th Race Win this Season.
