When buyers have the opportunity to review the success or otherwise of the progeny of Australian sires there is a lot of confusion in the marketplace created by slick marketing campaigns which often conveniently hide the lack of success of many sires.

Many breeders and yearling buyers confuse commerciality with service fee prices and not enough emphasis is placed on progeny success over the fashion parade syndrome.

Also the over saturation of mares to some sires certainly distorts the results.

However when you sift through the hype and look at the cold statistics as they are presented, there is one stallion at stud in Australia who is punching way above his weight, becoming the Best Performing Sire and the Best Value for Money stallion at stud.

The Dam SERENADE LILY (NZ) was a winner at 1500m and she is doing an excellent job at stud being the Dam of 4 to race – 3 Winners & 1 placed including stakes performed 2yo winner VOCALISE.

SERENADE LILY (NZ) is the half-sister to Champion Australian 3yo Filly SERENADE ROSE – a three time Gr1 Winner.

SERENADE LILY’s 2nd Dam (our colt’s 3rd Dam) is CIRCUS RING the Champion 2yo of Europe.

Bred on a brilliant A+++ genetic cross of Fastnet Rock over Mr Prospector line mares which has produced 28 Stakes Winners adds further appeal.

An Adonis of an equine specimen, they simply can’t come any better looking on conformation and type than this colt does.
