The new 2025-26 Racing Season is off and running and we are 6 weeks into the new season. There is some interesting data coming to the fore on the stallion premierships.
Facts and Figures are everything in the commercial thoroughbred world where data is king.
Especially when it comes to the stallion market to determine rankings, demand and worth.
The next few months are set to inject significant income into the earnings of all sires based upon the success (or failure) of progeny of each sire elevating their positions on various sire premierships.
The General Sires Premiership concentrates solely on Earnings. Obviously, this data can be meaningful but with the plethora of high value races in Australia (there are 105 races worth $1m or higher) it is possible one "freak" racehorse by any sire can distort and skewer the data.
One area where statistical data is very important, is that of the tally of individual winners on the General Sires Premiership. This is a true perspective of how a sire is performing and it removes the doubt over Earnings as that one “freak” racehorse counts once and does not skewer the results.
However even this must be adjusted because a sire might have a lot of progeny racing in the country or provincials, or in weaker state jurisdictions when compared to other sires whose progeny are racing in harder jurisdictions such as Sydney and Melbourne metropolitan grade.
So, our Team like to identify the Top 10 Sires by the Combination of Runners: Winners and Earnings.
For Example: At present Russian Revolution at a Service Fee of $33,000 has had 102 Runners recording 29 Individual Winners (28.4%). That has him in pole position Number of Winners.
However, these 29 Winners have total Earnings of just $776,009. These Earnings only place Russian Revolution in 18th place by Prizemoney.
Therefore, instantly it is recognised that the class of racing where the Russian Revolution progeny are competing, is of a moderate / low standard.
Now compare that data against SO YOU THINK. He has sired 28 Individual winners from 128 runners (21.9%) but his progeny have won $1,275,706. That is an extra $499,697 in Earnings in just six weeks.
Next for further analysis, we compare the above data against the current leading Earner ZOUSTAR. He has sired 27 individual Winners from 158 runners (17.1%) for Earnings of $1,620,152.
Against SO YOU THINK he has had 30 extra runners and against RUSSIAN REVOLUTION he has had an extra 56 runners.
By Earnings ZOUSTAR has an additional $344,446 over SO YOU THINK whilst against RUSSIAN REVOLUTION the additional ZOUSTAR earnings are $844,143.
Next, we have removed from the comparison three (3) sires who have low numbers but high earnings because their progeny have already won Gr1 races this season and inflated (skewered) their data: SNITZEL (14 Winners): Baraqiel (Moir S.); ALABAMA EXPRESS (12 Winners): Treasurethe Moment (Memsie S.); FASTNET ROCK (7 Winners): Via Sistina (Winx S).
Under this comparative basis Winners / Earnings we have meaningful data collection.
Sitting on TOP in the Number 1 position is SO YOU THINK:

It is important to note here that TOO DARN HOT has a lot less runners because his oldest have just turned 4yo’s’. He doesn’t have older, more mature crops running for him, compared to the other sires on the list.
FACT: TOO DARN HOT is the “HOTTEST” Sire in Australia. This is in alignment with his Service Fee increase to $275,000 for the 2025 Breeding Season.
He joins ZOUSTAR and I AM INVINCIBLE at the TOP of the SERVICE FEES list with each Standing at $275,000.
Compare these Service Fees against: DUNDEEL who is standing at $88,000; SO YOU THINK at $44,000, CAPITALIST at $44,000, SPIRIT OF BOOM at $38,500 and PIERRO at $33,000.
Followers of Dynamic Syndications will be aware that we had available with Ciaron Maher a Colossal COLT by SO YOU THINK. He is the half-brother to Ghenwaa (Dam of G1 Winner TASHI; SP Rapt), SW TARAAYEF, SW HAYBAH and SP Muraahib.

Our now 2yo Colt as a Yearling

He’s a colossal colt, big, strong, correct, clean on x-rays and scope, by Champion So You Think from Sultah (Exceed And Excel) who won 3 races from 5 starts.
We purchased him back in January at the Magic Millions because we have a big opinion of RAPT and think she can win black type races, and we thought that TASHI also had the ability to win a stakes race, and now she is a Group 1 winner.
The one thing that appears certain as night follows day is the way our So You Think x Sultah colt has broken-in and performed in pre-training we should be adding further to this already sensational pedigree.
This is how strong the pedigree now appears:

SO YOU THINK x SULTAH Colt on Friday 27 June.
A terrific type with huge pedigree with Australia’s Number 1 Trainer.
Further exciting news!
DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS will have available in the near future a sensational filly by the sire sensation - TOO DARN HOT.

Our next filly - by TOO DARN HOT ex DREAMS & WISHES (Galileo)
A Bay Filly from a mare by Champion Sire - GALILEO
Our Filly descends from one of the BEST FEMALE FAMILIES in the Australian Stud Book.
