58
Race Wins
for the
2022-23 Racing Season
was yet
another successful year
.
As a result during 2022-23 we have grown our Overall tally of
RACE WINS
from
770
to
828
We have also advanced our
Individual
Winners
up to
290
from
329
Individual
Runners
=
88.1%
Whilst
322
of
329
Runners have earned prizemoney =
97.9%
As our Owners and Followers are aware, our target each season is
52+ wins
where we average out to more than a
Winner-a-Week.
From the limited number of horses we have in training at any time, to achieve these results is a
recognition
to
ALL the Vital Members of our Team.
We thank
all
our trainers
for their willingness to work collaboratively within our
micromanagement structure
which is our biggest asset. These stables supply their horse husbandry skills to a set plan to achieve racetrack success however it’s their
flexibility and willingness to adapt
to ever changing goals that
set them apart from their peers
, and the reason why we
utilize their services
on behalf of our owners.
Having a horse well trained is a significant part of the overall picture however there are so many other parts that make the whole which we wish to acknowledge.
Jockeys
are a primary source of success.
We access the
“best-of-the-best”
when it comes to availability for races, no matter what district or jurisdiction our horses compete. Naturally, these riders are in demand from every stable, so
we acknowledge and thank their
jockey managers
who work in closely with
Adam from Dynamic
, 10-14 days pre-race to ensure where possible, we have a leading rider engaged.
As training evolves with new management, concepts and technologies,
the
art of
Pre-Training
has taken a prominent position in the training regime of every horse.
Costs and Conditioning
are the primary focus now for many stables and owners combined. With the first 4-6 weeks of training set to achieving daily foundation fitness targets without concussion pressure on limbs, the role and
the art of the pre-trainer is paramount.
The Team at Dynamic Syndications
were aware of this decades ago. As such we identified the
“best-of-the-best”
to conduct these vital skills with our horses.
Adam with SHANE ROSE
That’s why we swooped upon
Australian Olympic medalist - SHANE ROSE
to be our
horse educator
and
pre-trainer
.
The horse skills of Shane and his team ensure our horses are always tractable and without vices. If something does eventuate, Shane works on the re-education and confidence of the individual horse. We also utilize Shane’s skills in
“freshening-up”
a horse after a torrid race, where the individual heads to Bimbadeen Park for 5 days and keeps exercising but has the balance of the day in a small yard to walk about with the sun on its back. We have achieved tremendous success following this process for our owners.
Mack Griffith & Adam
We also send horses to the
magnificent facilities of
Gooree Park
at Mudgee
. Here under the watchful eye of
excellent horseman
Mack Griffith
,
the horses are sent for long term spelling and then we put them into training on the gorgeous private training facilities of Gooree Park. Mack has even begun training a few for us and
we have already visited the winner’s circle together!
We thank
Shane Rose
(Bimbadeen Park) and
Mack Griffith
(Gooree Park) for their excellent efforts.
Nothing happens in racing without the help of a
great team of veterinarians.
Our team at
Dynamic Syndications
have total trust in the experts we selected.
Dean, Dr Tim Roberts & Adam at the 2023 Magic Millions
Headed by our contracted veterinarian
Dr Tim Roberts
(Centennial Park Veterinary Practice)
along with his team of
Gary Baitz
and
Laura Vaughan
they service
Waterhouse & Bott stables
for us. We use
Dave Garth
at Warwick Farm with Ciaron Maher Stables
. Our serious issues for hospitalisation and surgeries we utilize
Agnes Banks Vet Hospital.
These are some of the group of highly qualified veterinarians that give us the best opportunities to keep our horses sound for racing.
We wouldn’t be anywhere without the commitment of our Dynamic Syndications Team.
Adam, Fiona, Dean & Peter = A Dynamic Team
The skillset, knowledge and passion
Adam Watt
has for the horses in our stable
cannot be matched.
The art of
placement, handicapping,
identifying races
and thinking outside the square is a major aspect to visiting the winner’s circle as often as we do.
Ensuring we have the best available riders engaged is an art in
man management
and trust and as a result, Adam has developed respectful relationships with all the Key Players in our industry. Whilst his eye for a horse is equal with all leading participants within our industry, it’s his
knowledge of breeding, i
n particular the
statistical data of genetic crosses,
which we use in the placement of our horses in races which also generates success.
Its this knowledge our owners hear in Adam’s weekly updates and race reports
.
As a result, we know our owners receive the best service available for information flow on their horses.
Then there is
Adam’s day job - offering horses that we have purchased to our owners to race with us.
Peter Wagstaff
is the
voice of Dynamic Syndications
when it comes to our owners being contacted pre-race and Peter is our office manager. Peter handles the enormous volume of administration required within our industry. Owner liaison, invoicing, collation of documents, IT work, Peter is across all the intricate aspects and peculiarities of administration in the thoroughbred industry. Peter is our
“Mr. Fix It”
and we know that Peter has a wonderful association with our owners.
Fiona Watt
is the Chief Financial Officer (
the Real Boss
)
. The volume of transactions each month is amazing, from running the individual trust accounts of each horse we have sold or are selling, the distribution of accounts, BAS and Accounting requirements, distribution of proceeds from the sales of horse, etc. Its micromanagement and attention to detail is demanding and Fiona handles it all flawlessly.
Dean Watt
with his 40 years’ experience as a Bloodstock Agent and Syndicator
identifies the horses we inspect at the sales and works closely with
Dr Tim Roberts and Adam
to fine tune our list and establish their commercial value before each sale commences to ensure we never pay overs for any horse we buy.
Then
Dean handles all the Corporation Act compliance aspects under our Australian Financial Services License,
along with the creation of the 72 pages of documents required under this compliance to sell just one 5% share in a horse.
Dean also does our
website work
ensuring our owners are the
most informed
in our industry about each horse we offer for promotion.
Our business is in the safest hands with our selection and management team, and this gives our owners trust, confidence and most importantly -
success.
OWNERS
are our lifeblood
However, we are acutely aware that
horses come and go
but the
greatest asset
of our business is
our Dynamic Owners
.
Simply, No Owners = No Business. At Dynamic Syndications our owners are always first.
We strive to achieve the best outcomes for our horses each and everyday to maximize all our owners’ enjoyment and minimise expenses.
Our TEAM at Dynamic acknowledge our Owners for your support and ongoing loyalty.
In summation, Dynamic Syndications offers a professional, passionate, team of highly skilled individuals dedicated to winning races for our Owners, for both their enjoyment that winning provides and the significant financial returns that record prizemoney levels offer.
The 2022-23 season of
58 Wins
was wonderful by our
own set of
KPI’s
however
we
always believe we can achieve more
.
It’s this attitude and hunger we take into the 2023-24 season.
Onwards & Upwards - Forever Forward!
