TRAINERS PREMIERSHIP Snapshot as at 14 November 24

Now 3½ months into the new racing season and as the Spring carnival now winds-up, it’s timely to peek at the data to see how the various high profile Trainers stables are performing across the East Coast being Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Dynamic Syndications continually monitors such trends, strike rates and earnings to ensure our horses are placed into the care of leading stables or boutique stables with good strike rates, to maximise the opportunities of earning prizemoney for all our co-ownership teams.

Further we have just undertaken a review of daily training rates and various charges of the leading and boutique stables, to allow our owners to maintain value for money opportunities across different sectors of training operations being Metropolitan, Provincial and Country trainers.

This review was conducted to keep abreast of all increased costs that stables have been incurring and passing through to the owners.

It also allows us to keep as accurate as possible the expected costs owners need to budget for when purchasing shares.

Interestingly, the review provided valuable insights into some stables “accounting” methods to owners.

Once the determining figure was the trainers “Day Rate” however today that needs to be taken with skepticism and only as a base guide.

Certain stables appear they may place additional premiums upon costs whilst maintaining the perception of a lower Day Rate.

Fortunately, Dynamic Syndications owners can take comfort that the stables we employ are not following such accounting practices.

Pleasingly, we also noted that our budgeted estimate costs as declared in our Product Disclosure Statements throughout 2024 have been as forecast.

The significant advancement for our co-ownership teams is that prizemoney has continued to skyrocket across all sectors in NSW ensuring our owners have significant income source.

Combined with the exceptional placement of our horses by our micro management at Team Dynamic and selection of leading riders wherever possible has a multiplier effect on earning the pointy end of prizemoney.
