JACK DUGGAN recorded Dynamic Syndications 18th Race Win for this new season and out 788th Race Win overall, whilst JACK became Dynamic Syndications Seventh (7th) Race Win in the past 11 Days.
The JASON DEAMER Stable at Newcastle (aka Dynamic Lodge) is on a real hot-streak, and he keeps returning our Dynamic Syndications Colours to the Winner’s Circle.
Jason recorded his 320th trained Race Winner in Race 5 at Gosford on Tuesday, it was our last start Winner JACK DUGGAN who saluted again, taking out the GWENDA MARKWELL MEMORIAL PROVINCIAL BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP (1900m) and picking-up the $21,000 First prize cheque.
He ran a Time of: 1:58.46 with a Last 600m: 0:36.91. JACK DUGGAN (55.5kgs) recorded an eased down 1.68 length winning margin over Whanga Wonder (57.0) ($11) with White Boots in third place 2.19 lengths away.
The race caller said “Jack Duggan around the corner went for home, got clear of the others, it’s Jack Duggan clear with 150m left to run, two lengths in front, they’re all there for the minors but they won’t get Jack – Jack Duggan won it by 2 lengths.”
“JACK DUGGAN has turned the corner, this grey son of Jack Milton for Jason Deamer, he had a real kill at Quirindi last time around, and he goes Back-to-Back.”
JACK DUGGAN had been taken to Quirindi to a Sky 2 meeting last start 11 days ago, in a Class 1 1600m event, and he destroyed his peers out of that gallop, winning eased down by a massive 8.66 lengths.

That's now a combined 10.34 lengths Winning Margin in his past two starts.
Out of that run, JASON reported that the horse had gained a heap of confidence and was strutting around the stables and trackwork like a peacock, very proud of himself.
Bred to be a miler to ten-furlong horse, and bred to be a later developing type, JACK DUGGAN had shown ability earlier in his Australian preparations, but typical of many European imports, he was just both physically and mentally immature. This time in, he has matured into his frame and grown-up between the ears.
The confidence that he received from his demolition job at Quirindi manifested itself into another soft win here at Gosford.
We give a huge wrap to our trainer JASON DEAMER who traditionally leaves the placement of our horses to Team Dynamic.
However, Jason spied this race in the calendar and was so confident that JACK DUGGAN “had grown a leg” since his win, he really wanted to step up in trip here. This event was a Provincial Benchmark 64 Race restricted to provincial trained horses.
We instantly agreed and Adam swooped upon Sydney’s leading front running rider TIM CLARK to pilot us around the 1900m trip.
Our Team was astonished when we opened favourite and were backed-in on every call from $3.00 to start $1.85 favourite. Incredibly this was a shorter price than he started in his easy romp last start.
The Punters knew what they were doing, and the race was never in doubt, despite being a muddling run affair, Tim Clark was too alert to be caught out by some strange tactics of other riders.
Our plan was to be positive and take up a forward position, keeping out of trouble. We were happy to lead or trail if they went along.
As the gates crashed back, the race unfolded as we anticipated with the top weight Sky Ace wanting to control the speed but then Imperial Grey committed racing suicide to push up and hold the fence in a fast tempo.
Tim was laughing to himself and just allowed that to unfolded and then angled into the slip stream, one out / one back behind Sky Ace as White Boots pushed up to keep us company following the paint.
The first three splits were run quickly, then they dropped anchor as the field swung into the back straight. Tim Clark was about 4 lengths off the leader but was a wake-up to that, and as the field thundered past the 800m marker at the halfway point, Tim increased his tempo and rolled up and around Sky Ace to eyeball the leader who we had anticipated would stop like it hit a wall. Others tried to go with JACK DUGGAN but didn’t have the toe to match.
Tim sat patiently until the 500m just before the point of the turn, then as they moved past the 400m market he hit the “go button” and our horse zoomed away establishing a 3 length break as the top of the short straight. The race was well and truly over at this point and in no danger, so Timmy Clark gave JACK and easy run to the line, maintaining his established margin and had the luxury of easing down to the camera.
JOB DONE!
Without getting too far in front of ourselves, it was just a restricted Bm64 at the provincials, however it’s rewarding for connections to see that their horse got the trip effortlessly and was full of running through the line, suggesting he will get beyond 2000m here in NSW and that opens up a lot of opportunities.
JASON DEAMER had the horse presented immaculately in the parade ring and the heavily backed favourite did the rest.
JACK DUGGAN has taken his career record to 13 Starts: 3 Wins, 0 Seconds, 1 Third and $52,823.
