Top Young Sire All Too Hard chalked up 6th then 7th Winner over weekend

The Mick Price trained Heart Ruler completed an excellent weekend for Vinery Stud's outstanding first season stallion ALL TOO HARD when she broke her maiden over 1617 metres at Sale on Sunday becoming the 7th individual 2YO winner for the former Australian Champion 3YO now wonderful First Crop Sire.

Damian Oliver rode Heart Ruler perfectly, giving the filly the run of the race, third on the fence, but then became locked-in as the runners bunched up on the home turn.

Disappointed for an inside run, Oliver switched the filly off heels into clear running.

Heart Ruler hit the front close to the post holding out the fast finishing Reality Show by a half-head with Leicester Rocket three-quarter of a length back in third.

"She was in an awkward spot on the turn but was good enough to get out of it and get over the top of them." Oliver said.

"She's still learning and a lightly framed filly but to win over a mile at her second start (this prep) is a good effort and she can only improve."

A $140,000 purchase by M G Price Racing at the 2016 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, Hard Ruler becomes the seventh (7th) winner for ALL TOO HARD and the second over the weekend following on from the impressive Eclair Sunshine at Morphettville on Saturday.

Heavily backed favourite Eclair Sunshine also came home with a barnstorming finish from last to earn his first win in Saturday's West Adelaide Football Club Hcp (1050m) and present ALL TOO HARD with his sixth winner (his fifth in Australia).

The gelding was snagged back to last by Matthew Neilson from an outside barrier.

Saving ground close to the rails, the son of ALL TOO HARD faced a wall of horses before Neilson switched him wide to make his challenge.

It proved the winning move as Eclair Sunshine overpowered Kid Flash to win by a length and a quarter with From The Clouds three-quarters of a length back in third.

Runner-up in two of his previous three starts, Eclair Sunshine was purchased for $260,000 from the Vinery Stud draft at the 2016 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling sale.

ALL TOO HARD is the half-brother to the wonderful Black Caviar.

A 4-time Group 1 winner, ALL TOO HARD stand for a fee of $44,000 at Vinery Stud this spring.

As expected by industry professionals, the progeny of Champion Australian 3yo All Too Hard are coming to the fore at the back-end of their first 2yo season.

The All Too Hard second-crop yearlings sold up to $600,000 (Gold Coast), $500,000 (Melbourne Premier) & $400,000 (Inglis Easter) earlier this year.

Dynamic Syndications purchased 2 fantastic yearlings by the hot first crop sire at the Magic Millions sales earlier this year.
