Virgin Australia Crew’s Exceptional Service Appreciated by Dynamic Syndications

Dynamic Syndications wish to formally acknowledge and tell our Owners and Readers the story about the beyond expectation service we received by the friendly Crew aboard a Virgin Australia flight we recently took.

In today’s society, people are quick to complain about anything.

However it’s not often enough that we as a society acknowledge the good deeds and experiences.

Hence why we have chosen to share this positive experience with our readers.

It was on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 on flight VA865 5:00pm between Melbourne to Sydney.

The day before was Melbourne Cup Day and as our loyal team of Owners, Friends and Readers along with all racing enthusiasts are aware, the Dynamic Syndications galloper TELEPLAY (4m Written Tycoon x Special Episode) won Race 9 the $150,000 MSS Security Sprint 1200m Listed Race.

The win was accompanied by the presentation of a Blue Glass Trophy.

Naturally fragile, the trophy was placed back into its presentation box and sealed by the Victoria Race Club for us to return to Sydney with the highly prized memento.

A quick story is a good one.

Dean, Fiona and Adam from Team Dynamic were booked onto the 5:00pm Virgin Australia VA865 flight and we carried the trophy on board as hand luggage.

The flight was full.

Unfortunately, the trophy’s box was a difficult shape and the overhead locker was unable to receive the box. It wouldn’t fit under the seat in front of us either.

Dilemma – what were we going to do?

The as normal, attentive staff with beaming smiles approached and we explained the problem that the hand luggage couldn’t fit into the locker or under the seat.

The crew offered to take it and place it in with the baggage in the plane. However the look of horror on my face must have been a signal and I explained that it was "a fragile glass trophy that our horse TELEPLAY had won the day before at Flemington."

The Crew were delightful and understood our plight and congratulated our team on the win.

They asked me to just wait a moment and then came back with a solution. They had located a position on board where the trophy could travel and they would return the trophy as we disembarked.

The flight took off smoothly and refreshments were served with the same friendly demeanour Virgin Australia Crews always apply to their trade.

Once the refreshments were cleared from the cabin, we saw the Crew leader heading down the aisle with glasses of champagne in hand and to our surprise, he stopped at our seats and passed the glasses to us and said:

“On behalf of the Crew and Virgin Australia, congratulations on your success yesterday. Please accept these with our compliments to congratulate you on your win.”

He also passed over a Virgin Australia card in which he had hand written the following:

“Dear Mr and Mrs Watt, On behalf of the crew we would like to congratulate you on your win with Teleplay at yesterdays Melb Cup race day. 2018 VA Crew Best Wishes.”

Then after the plane landed, the Pilot and Crew were saying goodbye to passengers.

When we arrived to the front door to disembark, the Crew passed back the trophy and the Pilot also congratulated us on our success.

This Crew did not have to do any of this. It’s not part of their job description.

However the warmth and generosity of spirit and their genuine happiness for us was delightful.

This service creates customer loyalty. The team at Dynamic Syndications in our business are regular flyers and we appreciate the efforts all Crews put in to make the experience as enjoyable as they can.

What this Crew on Virgin Australia flight VA865 presented to us, was very much appreciated and has ensured Virgin Australia will continue to be our first choice carrier and we recommend to all our readers the Virgin Australia experience.
