Chris Waller has broken through the $10 million prizemoney barrier for the season when he saluted with Midnight Minx at Canterbury yesterday.
Chris has currently earned $10,071,620 for his clients in the 2011/12 season with only 6 days to go and two metropolitan meets remaining.
Chris has trained 123.5 Sydney metropolitan winners and has had another 7 city wins elsewhere to put him over 25 wins above Gai Waterhouse who sits in 2nd and a further 30 wins above the 3rd placed Peter Snowden in the Sydney Trainers Premiership.
Chris Waller has had another Dynamic season
Overall, he has trained a total of 170.5 winners all around the country which currently puts him 4th in overall winners trailing fellow Dynamic trainer, Peter Moody who sits in 1st on 204 wins.
He also sits 4th in overall prizemoney for the year after breaking through the magical $10 million milestone yesterday with Peter Moody again leading the way on $14,537,750.
This is a staggering performance from Chris who has come from much smaller pastures in New Zealand to now be Sydney’s leading trainer and one of Australia’s best trainers.
Having started with a small team of four horses when granted stables at Rosehill, Chris now has 100 thoroughbreds in full work and the team is of the highest quality.
He continues to get race track results in the big races like when he teamed up with Dynamic to race Honor in War to victory in the Gr2 AJC Villiers Stakes in 2008.
The connections of Honor in War celebrating their Villiers win
We currently have a number of rising 2 and 3 year olds in the stable of Chris Waller including a Commands – Making Fey Filly which is due to start syndication in the very near future.
Chris has continued to break records each year and in 6 days’ time he will be crowned Sydney leading trainer for a second year in a row.
Chris has continued to set himself new goals each year and continually reaches them and then goes straight past them with what seems to subsequent ease.
Since arriving from his stables in New Zealand he has constantly bettered his mark each year with notably his tally of overall winners jumping from 51 in the 07/08 season to over 170.5 winners this year.
Chris is known for his hard work and long hours that he puts in and is often first on the track of a morning and last one to leave in the evening as he takes such pride in the work that he does.
Chris continues to lead the way with his horse handling abilities and we are very glad to have him on board with us at Team Dynamic.
As the best racehorse syndicator in the game, we pride ourselves on getting the best trainers to give our clients the highest chance of winning races. With Chris Waller, this is something that goes without saying.
We look forward to more racetrack success with him next season as we work together to improve our own records and continue to step up in our performance.
