Justify Registers Sunday Double With Prove Right
JUSTIFY - Outstanding new sire !
It proved to be a
huge day for JUSTIFY on Sunday when he registered his
fourth individual winner just hours after getting his
first stakes winner.
PROVE RIGHT (2c Justify x Joe’sgoldenholiday, by Harlan’s Holiday) won at Churchill Downs.
Making his second race appearance after finishing a close fourth on debut,
PROVE RIGHT
was happy to stalk the leader early in the
5½ furlong (1100m) race
until they got to the home turn. It was at that point that the colt made
his move and after a brief fight with the leader, he raced clear.
Down the straight,
PROVE RIGHT built on his lead to win by
3¼ lengths.
