Our Filly has been entrusted into the care of the
HOTTEST Sydney Stable - the GOLDEN SLIPPER Winning Trainers; FREEDMAN BROTHERS – Richard & Michael Freedman, who just last weekend took out the
2021 GOLDEN SLIPPER.
We take this opportunity to explain to our Owners what
really excites us about the filly that our Dynamic ownership team may not be aware of.
This filly belongs to one of the
BEST STUD BOOK Families in the Northern Hemisphere and most importantly, it’s a
current working pedigree!
During the month of March 2021, there have been some
significant developments.
Firstly, the
$440,000 Half-Brother to our filly named
FAST WILLIE has started his racing career in NZ and
won stylishly at his second career start over 1550m.
Then on
Thursday the 31st March at Kempton Park in the UK, the mare
MOSTLY - a 4yo
Half-Sister to REMIND ME,
won impressively by two lengths over 1600m when resuming from a spell and took her career record to
5 Starts: 2-2-0 and a Timeform rating of 101p. She is being aimed at Stakes Races in the next few starts and based on her impressive win, she appears to be up to that class.
Next, on the
26th March pre-race markets on the
three (3) Feature Races for the 3yo Fillies in the UK were released.
INDIGO GIRL - a 3yo Filly (by DUBAWI x MONTARE) being the
Full-Sister to JOURNEY - the Champion Female in GB with a
Timeform rating of 124 (and a
Half-Sister to our filly’s Dam
REMIND ME). She has had
3 career starts for 2 wins and 1 second including a Gr2 victory and being runner-up in a Gr1 and has a Timeform Rating of 112+.
Being a sister to
JOURNEY who was a Champion over distances out to 2400m, she has been installed at the
top of betting markets for th
e 3 main Fillies Group 1 races: the 1000 Guineas and the English and Irish Oaks.

This filly we purchased by
LONHRO ex REMIND ME is bred on the sensational
A+++ LONHRO x DANEHILL Cross which has produced
50 Stakes Winners including 10 Gr1 Winners.
LONHRO mated over a
DANSILI mare has produced one filly named Raymonda who has won 2 races and been a Stakes Performer on 4 occasions, so we know this cross has worked.
LONHRO is well entrenched in Australia’s TOP 10 Broodmare Sire Premiership. He is one of just
four (4) sires still active at stud on this Broodmare Sires list and he has achieved this ranking off smaller foal crops due to his fertility issues reducing his total foal numbers. However, this season alone, as a broodmare sire, from 289 Runners his daughters have produced
105 Winners including 5 Stakes Winners.
Whilst as a Stallion at stud,
LONHRO this season has sired 132 Runners:49 Winners including 8 Stakes Horses (3 SW and 5 SP).
As a result,
well-bred daughters of LONHRO are in-demand by Commercial Breeders as they are aware daughters of
LONHRO have a high propensity to produce top class runners.
The last time a mare was sold out of the female family was in 2019 when a
half-sister to REMIND ME named
Steam Song sold for $440,000 Guineas at the Tattersalls Sale (
$850,000 AUD).
Since then, both
INDIGO GIRL and MOSTLY have appeared on the scene and there is a current
2yo full relation to
JOURNEY and
INDIGO GIRL, so the family has huge upside in Europe.
With our filly being passed by our veterinarian
Dr Tim Roberts as being
clean on X-Rays and Scope, our filly was bred by
Gerry Harvey to be a
3yo to race at a mile to 2400m and one we have high hopes may develop into an
Oaks and Cups candidate.
Whilst we wait for our filly to mature and the distances to get out to the trip she will need,
she continues to see her female pedigree grow and strengthen commercially.
Her value could skyrocket on the deeds of close relations whilst she is in the spelling paddock eating grass.
