Last Sunday night 23 May, in the
USA they crowned
Chayce Beckham the winner of
19th season of
American Idol.
Just a couple of hours earlier,
world racing’s own “American Idol” put on a show, winning a California stakes race with a
Maiden.
This
one sire dominates his year crop peers.
He is the leading sire on year-to-date cumulative figures on both turf and dirt tracks.
He’s the best, not only by just earnings, but by all standards of measurement and across all black-type categories.
So then - Who is he?
Do you know who is the racing world’s American Idol?
Well, the answer is found in the snapshot photo below:
Followers of DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS are aware of the
high regard we have for
Coolmore Stud’s sensational US racehorse and leading US stallion - AMERICAN PHAROAH.
AMERICAN PHAROAH at Stud
Standing at Coolmore’s Ashford Stud in Kentucky for $100,000 USD, he was a
freak on the
track and
those deeds are now being replicated through his progeny.
Last Saturday in the US his
brilliant daughter AS TIME GOES BY added a
consecutive Gr2 Win to her burgeoning resume.
AS TIME GOES BY (inside)
As Time Goes By (4m American Pharoah x Take Charge Lady, by Dehere) added her
second straight Group 2 stakes victory with a win in the
Group 2 Santa Maria Stakes.
Racing over 1 1/16 miles (1700m),
As Time Goes By took up a spot just off the leader as they raced around the oval. Entering the far turn,
As Time Goes By confronted the pacesetter and put her head in front to take command. While she left that leader behind, rival This Tea started to make up ground on the lead, challenging with every stride.
However,
As Time Goes By was too determined, keeping her nose in front all the way up the straight to record her third win of the year. Her only miss being when she was runner-up in the Group 1 Beholder Mile.
She is now a dual Gr2 Winner and Gr1 runner-up
Her career reads 7 Starts: 4 Wins – 3 Placings
Then on the
following day, it was
two stakes-winners in two days for American Pharoah when his son
HUDSON RIDGE (3c American Pharoah x Shell House, by Galileo) broke his maiden in impressive style, winning the
Cinema Stakes LR at Santa Anita racing over 1 1/8 miles (1800m)
on turf.
HUDSON RIDGE
The Bob Baffert-trained
Hudson Ridge was forced to veer out soon after the start when a horse bumped into him. However he quickly was back in stride, and raced keenly close behind the leader under his rider Abel Cedillo. Cedillo kept a hold on him until they entered the turn when he was let loose.
Hudson Ridge had the lead heading into the straight and held an advantage over Zoffany’s stakes winning Sword Zorro. Pulling away in the closing stages,
Hudson Ridge scored a 1¼ length victory.
Hudson Ridge is one of the
now 16 stakes winners / 32 stakes performers by American Pharoah who
leads all North American and European third crop sires premierships by number of Group 1 winners, Group 1 performers, Group Stakes Winners, Group Stakes Horses, Stakes Winners overall, and Stakes Horses overall.
DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS have been
bullish on
AMERICAN PHAROAH since his first crop went through the yearling sales in Australia, believing the sireline could work well here, however they had to be from the
right genetic cross.
The sire was
flooded here by mares from the
Danehill line which we were
concerned could struggle a little in Australia and were prepared to avoid those bred on the Danehill maternal sireline.
Now with his
third crop of racing age in the USA and Europe and his
oldest being 2yo’s here in Australia, there is
significant data immerging that the
sire is working well, specifically with some certain sirelines –
Deputy Minister through his son
DEHERE -
Sadler’s Wells through his champion son
GALILEO and
Mr Prospector through his grandson
STREET CRY.
Nobody expected
AMERICAN PHAROAH progeny could ever be early 2yo types in Australia.
They will be
middle distance 3yo and older stye horses, by one of the
best racehorses – now sires – in the world.
If
AMERICAN PHAROAH progeny continue to produce such high-quality runners around the globe, then his
yearlings will surely
skyrocket in commercial value.
Now is the time to become involved with the much-desired progeny by this awesome young sire.
DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS have purchased 2 yearlings by AMERICAN PHAROAH and earlier this week, we purchased from the AQUIS Group, the very promising 2yo filly AFRICAN DAISY by the sire.
Our AMERICAN PHAROAH x BLUE MONEY Colt
Our Magic Millions colt out of BLUE MONEY (USA) (by Malibu Moon) is SOLD OUT.
Our AMERICAN PHAROAH x LISSON GROVE Colt
Our AMERICAN PHAROAH x LISSON GROVE colt with Gai and Adrian is selling well.
AFRICAN DAISY - our 2YO Filly by AMERICAN PHAROAH
Our 2yo Filly AFRICAN DAISY with Annabel Neasham has had documents submitted for approval with Racing NSW and will be ready to go to market in the next few days.
AMERICAN PHAROAH is doing a superb job and this represents an awesome opportunity to join our team in exciting prospects by one of the world’s most gifted emerging sires.
