The rain and wind hit Sydney and Dynamic Syndications last night and boy, did it get hit hard.
Almost all of the metropolitan and provincial tracks had substantial downgrades due to the gale force winds and torrential rain that engulfed all parts of Sydney overnight.
The rain has forced the hand of Dynamic as we had to scratch David Payne runner, Dream Choice however Secret Delight will contest the third race of the day.
The track at Canterbury is currently rated a Heavy 9 with the Penetrometer reading of 5.96 at the end of the second race on the card.
The Canterbury racecourse did not avoid the rain last night
However the Canterbury track is widely touted as one of the best drying tracks in Sydney and with a bit of sunshine trying to break through, we are hopeful the track can perform well.
Further north, the Gosford course, which is due to host a meeting tomorrow, is currently rated a Heavy 10 as of 9.30 this morning.
Currently we have one horse, in the aptly named Just a Splash, nominated for the race meet and we will wait on what the weather does before making a decision on her.
Looking forward to Saturday, the Rosehill track to date has held up the best out of the 3 tracks that have been previously mentioned.
It as of 9.30am today, was rated a heavy 8 with the forecast of little to no rain until Sunday being positive at this early stage.
We only have the one runner down to compete on Saturday with Superior Instinct currently entered in the final race of the meet.
The winter season and heavy rain always makes it difficult to place horses but Dynamic Syndications have done well in previous years with Atomic Force winning the Gr1 Galaxy in very wet conditions last year.
Atomic Force won impressively in the wet in the Gr1 Galaxy last year
Dynamic Syndications pride themselves on their horse placement and will not risk a runner if there is any chance it will be detrimental to the horse.
Will all the wet weather, please keep an eye on both nominations and scratching in all meets to find out when your favourite Dynamic horses may be running.
