Today ASIC published a Media Release number 16-282 to announce From 1st January 2017 ASIC are: (1) Raising the investment limit for a horse racing syndicate from $250,000 to $500,000; (2) Increasing the maximum number of members for a horse racing syndicate from 20 to 50 along with other changes.

Promising Coolmore shuttler Excelebration (IRE) produced two new winners in two days in the Northern hemisphere with Costa Esmeralda winning easily in the USA, while in the UK at Goodwood, Tara Celeb kicked off her career with a gutsy win. Excelebration is anticipated to produce 3yo miler types the way he is bred and the way he raced to have now had 8 first crop winners in the Northern Hemisphere and a further 11 placegetters, Excelebration is excelling and by far exceeding early expectations.

A big THANK YOU to our Dynamic Canberra Trainers Barbara Joseph and Paul Jones for a marvellous piece of horsemanship in turning around our problem child HOLYROODHOUSE to win his maiden at his 5th start and a bigger chee for our DYNAMIC OWNERS of HOLYROODHOUSE who have remained loyal throughout and showed great patience as we nursed their horse back to a workable soundness when 12 months ago it was a 50 / 50 call if he would ever race.

Powerhouse colt and stallion prospect DEFCON was content going about his business under the radar compared to his Golden Slipper winning stablemate CAPITALIST (Written Tycoon) during the autumn however his dominating win first up in the Group 3 MRC McNeil Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday proved that it’s now his turn in the spotlight.
