High-class staying filly Positivity headlined another successful day for Almanzor when she triumphed in the Gr3 SA Fillies’ Classic at Morphettville. The filly produced a sterling performance to overwhelm her rivals in the 2500 metre feature. Positivity is now a dual Gr3 Winner and Gr1 placed having won the Gr3 Sunline Vase and finishing runner-up in the Gr1 New Zealand Oaks, before coming to Australia.

The Gr1 I Poule d’Essai des Pouliches (1600m) for the fillies (French 1000 Guineas) was won by an Aga Khan homebred, the LOPE DE VEGA filly named ROUHIYA, who was having her first try in a Black Type race. ​Rouhiya's victory in the Gr1 Emirates Poule d'Essai des Pouliches provided a perfect illustration of the Aga Khan's maxim that “racing and breeding racehorses is a game of chess with nature.”
