The 2020 NZ Bloodstock Yearling Sale at Karaka kicked-off on Australia Day and Team Dynamic were hard at work across the ditch at the Kiwi’s 94th National Yearling Sale. Adam Watt and our contracted veterinarian Dr Tim Roberts had identified an awesome colt being offered by PRIMA PARK as Lot 123 by Darley Stud’s First Crop Sire ASTERN from the ZABEEL mare MY TYPE and were in raptures about him. His Dam, MY TYPE was unraced but has been very successful broodmare. She has produced 6 foals to race – 4 Winners and 1 placed inc 2yo Stakes Winner TYPING (by Sebring).

It was just 2 weeks ago these kids were experiencing the sights and sounds of a Magic Millions yearling sale where they were being paraded for potential buyers. Our select eight (8) “newbies” purchased by Team Dynamic head into leading stables in Sydney and Melbourne and wear our colours in expectation they will become tomorrow’s superstars. To ensure these kids get the best start to their career, we employ the outstanding horsemanship skills of Australian Olympian Shane Rose and his expert team at his property Bimbadeen Park to break-in and educate these boys and girls for life as a racehorse.

Our Colt is from VORMISTA (by Testa Rossa) – A top-flight racehorse - she was a Gr2 Winner and three (3) times she was Gr1 Placed. Now she's the Dam of 5 to race – ALL Winners. Even more so, when you buy a tried racemare through an online auction with a big pedigree chock-full of black-type but missing one important ingredient – a Win ! You make a decision to buy her based on type, based on early racetrack performance, based upon a super commercial pedigree, based upon excellent genetic balance in the pedigree, based upon experience and …. based upon gut-feel. Then ... she Wins first-up !

It is with great pleasure that the Team at Dynamic Syndication can launch our 2020 promotions. Having received Letters of Approval from Racing NSW we are now able to advise the prices on each promotion. Overall, we purchased 8 yearlings over the 4 Day - Book 1 main sale which saw some phenomenal sale prices, ten (10) million dollar plus yearlings, an increase in average and increase in median prices.

Keeping with our strategy in 2020 of purchasing progeny of Champion Racehorses which have transitioned in 2020 into now exciting First Crop Sires, Dynamic Syndications added to our haul from this year’s Magic Millions by securing our 8th and final purchase from this year’s sale. Lot 842 offered by Rheinwood Pastoral Co (as agent) was a stunning SHALAA Filly out of TALENTED MISS (Al Maher). We always had our eye on this particular filly from the beginning and we were thrilled to have secured Lot 842 for $80,000 + GST.

As the 2020 Magic Millions Sale continues to exceed expectations with the average and median keeping on the boil, DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS were active securing a brace of high-quality colts for two loyal Dynamic Syndications VIP Owners. Lot 565 FASTNET ROCK x MOTHER'S MILK Colt and Lot 633 LONHRO x PERRI LOU Colt joined Team Dynamic taking our tally to 7 Yearlings.

Again, a sluggish start to the sale saw the first 45 minutes struggle but soon after, the fireworks started and the sale fired-up. The prices started to pick up and by the close of Day 2 the average had jumped to $248,796, the Median was $180,000 and the clearance rate was a strong 86.60%. Dynamic Syndications purchased 2 fillies on Day 2. Lot 276 an Extreme Choice x Encosta Jewel and Lot 393 Capitalist x Icy Mist

By the end of the first day’s session, the average was up to $239,236 ($237,309), the Median was up to $180,000 ($170,000) but the clearance rate was down to 82.86% (89.33%). Dynamic Syndications were active buying 3 yearlings : Lot 27 PRIDE OF DUBAI x VORMISTA Colt, Lot 93 AIR FORCE BLUE x ANGORA Filly, Lot 201 STAR TURN x COUNTY CORK Colt.
