YAO DASH only had 3 race starts which were all in his first racing preparation. He earned $158,250 in 3 starts by scoring a win in record time on debut over 1200m at Canterbury, followed by a win in record time over 1300m at Randwick and then was thrown in the deep end to run in the Gr1 1400m Golden Rose when he took on the best 3yo’s in the country finishing 1.5 lengths 4th to BIVOUAC – YES YES YES and EXCEEDANCE. Looking to the future with YAO DASH we avoided the temptation to push on with him and sent him to the paddock for a well deserved break and allow him to unwind with early the spring sun on his back before preparing for an Autumn preparation.

Beautifully bred Fastnet Rock filly ANAHEED had been lining up against the silk department in Sydney recently so she appreciated the trip down to Melbourne when recording a dominant win in Wednesday’s Gr3 Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield. It was the third Group success for Anaheed having already won the Gr2 ATC Percy Sykes Stakes and Gr2 ATC Sweet Embrace Stakes as a 2yo.

A “Fantastic Day” was the vibe surrounding our VIP Owners Open Day held on Sunday 13 October where Dynamic Syndications hosted 150 of our owners at the picturesque COOLMORE STUD at Jerry’s Plains. The day proved to be a sensation.

Dynamic Syndications added yet another feature Country Cup to our ever growing collection on Sunday, when our galloper FALCON ISLAND (5yo Bay Gelding by Harbour Watch ex Strathspey) trained by Australia’s first lady of racing Gai Waterhouse and her co-trainer Adrian Bott dominated the field in TRACK RECORD TIME to secure the $75,000 Coonamble Cup 1600m feature event.
