SO SI BON had never won first up in five previous preparations, but the talented horse changed all that at Flemington last Saturday when powering clear to win the Group 3 VRC Aurie's Star Handicap over 1200 metres.

On Wednesday at Canterbury, the Jason Deamer trained DECROUX gave his peers a galloping lesson based upon key factors of class and an exceptional ride by the greatly talented Nash Rawiller. Race 2 was the ANZ Bloodstock News 1900m Benchmark 72 event. Turned out in magnificent order, DECROUX looked the pick of the yard and raced accordingly.
