The decision on his availability will be guided by veterinary advice with a focus on his long-term health and well-being. A further update on his progress will be made in due course.

Carr S. 1400m Gr3. Ridden by Regan Bayliss, Konasana sloshed her way to a 3.7 lengths win over the favourite Scarlet Oak, with Hasty Honey a half-neck back in third. Konasana has now won 3 of her eight starts and $243,000 prizemoney.

Dynamic Syndications Ciaron Maher trained 3yo filly UP TO MISCHIEF (Written Tycoon x More Mischievous) has extended her unbeaten record to 3 Wins from 3 Runs with an easy romp around Orange on Friday in a Showcase meeting, when second-up from a spell. She was far too classy for her peers in the Benchmark 66 over 1310m. Selected as the “Best Bet” of the day by The Daily Telegraph’s Shayne O‘Cass, and smashed in betting to start odds-on at $1.90, our Dynamic filly didn’t let her Owners (nor Shayne) down.

CIARON MAHER Racing have done a superb job with our lightly raced 3yo Filly PIGGYBACK (Trapeze Artist x Wowee) and the fabulous filly is a highly promising staying prospect. She was resuming from a spell at Orange on Friday in a Showcase Class 1 over 1410m, facing the starter for just the second time. On a Soft 5 she ran 1:23.61 picking up $15,000 first prize plus $5,625 BOBS Bonus. She had won on debut at Gosford last prep on the 8th December, and was then put away for a possible Brisbane Winter campaign at distances beyond 2000m.
