Autumn Angel was strong through the line when adding Saturday’s Gr2 Kewney Stakes (1600m) at Flemington to her resume. Ridden by Mark Zahra the daughter of THE AUTUMN SUN hit the lead at the 300m marker. She looked likely to be swamped in the final stages but was tough to the post defeating Basilinna by a half-neck, with the run of the race and flashing lights on the stablemate Pierro filly Mollynickers who was a head back in third. A special note from this race was the run for third of the stablemate MOLLYNICKERS. That filly had little luck at a vital stage in the straight and was unable to have a fair crack.

The $165,000 Canberra Guineas (1400m) Listed Race produced a terrific finish as Zoustar gelding XIDAKI proved too strong for favourite Port Lockroy with a neck back in third spot to Thunderlips - another son of Zoustar. Xidaki became the 49th stakes-winner for Zoustar, who also has 45 stakes placegetters. ZOUSTAR is having another tremendous season with 15 Stakes Winners and 14 Stakes Placegetters.​

Carnival time and you can rest assured that progeny of Champion Sire FASTNET ROCK visit the Winner’s Circle, and again on Saturday that was the case when PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE won the Gr2 Challenge Stakes at Randwick. Connections were extremely confident, and Punters kept loading onto LOVELY THOUGHTS on Saturday at the Tuncurry-Forster race meeting and our Jason Deamer trained mare didn’t look like letting the team down, as she cruised around in not much more than an exhibition gallop to claim the winner’s cheque over the 2150m trip in Race 2, winning by 9.82 lengths as a $1.16 fav.

Up-and-coming sprinter GHALIB romped away to an easy win in the $100,000 Kranji Stakes A race (1100m) on Saturday. Ghalib shaved 0.05secs off the Class Record set two years earlier. Ghalib is the $1m Half-Brother to our PIERRO x CAVEAT Colt we purchased at the Magic Millions. Ghalib has now won 6 races - there are 3 additional wins to what was printed on his catalogue page. His Dam CAVEAT comes from one of the strongest Black Type families in the Australian Stud Book.

Dynamic Syndications 6yo grey gelding JACK DUGGAN (USA) trained by JASON DEAMER was seen in the winner’s circle for the 6th time in his 27 start race career to date, as he pulled out a tough and courageous win from the jaws of defeat to claim Race 3, the Group Training Apprentices Provincial Bm64 over 1890m at Newcastle on Saturday. Ridden by Ash Morgan, it was a win of true grit, and it was only confirmed as the camera flashed when Jack was asked to perform a near miraculous effort to claim victory.

Dynamic Syndications had to be patient and waited until the start of Day 3 to become active at the 2024 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, but it was certainly worth the wait, when we purchased LOT 547 a fantastic filly by Champion Racehorse and Champion Sire PIERRO ex ORONTES (by Redoute’s Choice) from the draft of Coolmore Stud for $90,000 + GST. Genetically, the best cross for the sire PIERRO is with REDOUTE’S CHOICE Mares.

AUSSIE PHAROAH trained by Mack Griffith at Mudgee, won Race 5, the Mountain View Hotel Bm50 1550m at Gilgandra on Saturday, when ridden by Clayton Gallagher setting a new Class Record time, AUSSIE PHAROAH advanced his resume to 13 starts: 2 Wins, 2 Seconds, 1 Third. This was the 42nd WIN by Team Dynamic horses for the current season and AUSSIE PHAROAH recorded our 870th Race Win overall.
