Scone trainer Brett Cavanough has raced horses at some unique racetracks and on Friday 23rd November, he intends to add to his resume the Wyeera racecourse at Bowral, the home of the famous Bong Bong picnic races. Brett is planning to take Dynamic Syndications galloper MIAMI DADE to the historic venue so he can saddle-up his first runner in the time-honoured Bong Bong Cup run over 1560m.

It was a terrific weekend in Europe for Arrowfield Stud shuttler Olympic Glory (IRE) as he posted a winning double and his first stakes-winner in France. KARAKTAIR won the Prix de la Depeche du Midi over 1600m becoming Olympic Glory’s 17th Individual Winner. Then two year old filly WATCH ME became his 18th Individual Winner when she won the Listed Criterium du Languedoc - Prix Bernard de Marmiesse over 1600m.

Co-trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott have continued their domination of early two-year-old races, claiming the feature juvenile race of the Melbourne Spring Carnival at Flemington. Vinicunca won the Group 3 Maribyrnong Plate to give Waterhouse and Bott their third two-year-old winner in Melbourne this season. Vinicunca joins Unite And Conquer (Maribyrnong Trial) and Espaaniyal (Inglis Banner).

On Melbourne Cup Day, 6th Nov 2018 at Flemington, Waikato Stud's Cox Plate-winning sensational Champion sire SAVABEEL (Zabeel-Savannah Success, by Success Express) added yet another Stakes Winner to his resume when 4YO New Zealand-bred entire KAONIC (Savabeel-Fast Love, by Fastnet Rock) ridden by Zac Purton recorded his first stakes win in the $150,000 Furphy Plate (1800m) Listed Race.

Dynamic Syndications will have two (2) runners carrying our colours at Flemington on Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup Day. They are TELEPLAY (Written Tycoon x Special Episode) for trainer Mick Price and to be ridden by Michael Dee who will compete in race 9 MSS Security Sprint 1200m Listed Race. Also we have SAVAPINSKI (Savabeel x Swarovski) for GAI and Adrian to be ridden by Tim Clark. She will take her place in Race 10 the Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes a Gr3 over 1400m.

Shillelagh (NZ) (Savabeel x Trocair) returned to Flemington and claimed her second Group 1 victory with an awesome display, to capture the EMPIRE ROSE Stakes 1600m Gr1 for Fillies and Mares on the opening day of the four-day Melbourne Cup Carnival.
