Federal politicians have pledged their bipartisan support for our thoroughbred industry, emphasising its importance to and injection of $10 Billion per annum into the Australian economy and the integral part it plays in the social fabric of rural, regional and metropolitan Australia. More than 40 MPs and Senators from across the political divide gathered with some of our industry participants at Parliament House in Canberra for an event hosted jointly by Thoroughbred Breeders Australia (TBA) and the Parliamentary Friends of Primary Producers.

Coolmore Stud have announced their Service Fees on their Kentucky based Ashford Farm roster, and it was no surprise that sire sensation JUSTIFY was given top spot for 2024. Justify has been priced at USD $200,000 for his upcoming season in Kentucky which equates to AUD $314,220, so Australian breeders seem to have a bargain using this exceptional young sire during his current Southern Hemisphere season fee of $77,000. Especially since the champion sire did not shuttle to Australia last season. Justify is currently serving a stellar book of mares in Australia.

What a thrill to claim a $2 million race on Everest Day at Royal Randwick, as a major part of the world’s richest raceday on turf. Our brilliant sprinter I AM ME broke the hearts of her peers in a sizzling display of speed. Trained by Australia’s Number 1 Stable for Winners – CIARON MAHER RACING and ridden to perfection by Australia’s Number 1 jockey James McDonald, our Dynamic mare I AM ME proved herself too quick, too strong, too good under Weight-For-Age conditions winning the FEEL NEW - SYDNEY STAKES Group 3 1200m at Royal Randwick. The race was worth an incredible $2m with a First Prize of $1,155,000.

Dynamic Syndications have been bullish about the progeny of exciting young sire JUSTIFY since his first crop were yearlings and his daughter out of the mare PICKIN’ TIME (by Flying Spur) was one we loved at the Magic Millions. On Saturday at Newcastle, JUST IN TIME (3yo chestnut filly by Justify ex Pickin’ Time) faced the starter for the first time off the back of some very impressive trial form. Our trainers Richard and Will Freedman presented her in excellent order to the parade ring and jockey Ash Morgan was in the saddle for this assignment.

It was a DYNAMIC DAY on Saturday October 14 for Dynamic Syndications and four (4) of our Ownership Teams and Connections of horses under our care, as we Won 3 Races including the valuable $2m Sydney Stakes Gr3 1200m with I AM ME. Our 3yo gelding DRUMS OF WAR (American Pharoah x War Heroine) trained by Jason Deamer went back-to-back, then in Race 7, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC F&M MAIDEN HANDICAP (1200m) our debutant 3yo filly JUST IN TIME (Justify x Pickin’ Time) trained by Richard and Will Freedman backed-up excellent barrier trial form to start $1.50 favourite and effortlessly claim victory.

Dynamic 3yo DRUMS OF WAR recorded back-to-back wins for his terrific owners when claiming a Benchmark 64 over 900m at Newcastle on Saturday. Our Newcastle based trainer JASON DEAMER polished our 3yo speed machine to perfection and matched when our 3yo was ridden perfectly by Ash Morgan. DRUMS OF WAR won Race 5, 1st $21,000 + $5,625 BOBS, DRUMS OF WAR is a 3yo B Gelding by AMERICAN PHAROAH (USA) from WAR HEROINE (USA) (Lonhro). Career Summary: 3-2:1:0. Prizemoney: $54,200

YES YES YES had his first runner represent him last Saturday in Adelaide and the result would be very pleasing for Coolmore Stud where YES YES YES stands as his daughter YES YES TESS was pipped at the post in the Lets Thrive Moorundi Classic 900m event to finish only a head second in what was a two horse war down the straight. YES YES TESS - 2yo Bay Filly (D.O.B: 02-Oct-2021) is from the mare TYPHOON TESS (Redoute’s Choice ex Gallant Tess (by Galileo)). The run was full of merit and having hit the front in the early part of the straight she was left a sitting duck for the winner to work down the outside and stick its head out when the camera flashed.

DUNDEEL continues punching above his weight as the sire cements his spot in the Top 5 Stallions at Stud. Importantly, he is the youngest of the Top 5 Sires and has 2 less crops than So You Think. Of the Top 5 Sires, DUNDEEL has had the least number of runners this season. He is 56 starters behind I Am Invincible & Zoustar, 18 less than So You Think & 3 behind Snitzel. DUNDEEL has a Winners/Runners Strike Rate of 24.4% which places him in third position. He is sitting behind Snitzel = 27.7% & Zoustar = 25.7% & Dundeel sits ahead of I Am Invincible = 23.5% and So You Think = 20.0%.

Investing in fillies can have wonderful upside for owners, even when your filly is enjoying the sun on its back in a spelling paddock. Two Dynamic Syndication owned horses saw half-relations win Stakes Races adding significantly to our horse’s commercial value without ours expending any energy in the process. ESPIONAGE won the Gr3 ATC Breeders Plate and THINK ABOUT IT kept his black-type collection flowing when winning Gr2 Premier Stakes. We have half-sisters to both winners.
