Arrowfield Stud shuttler Olympic Glory (IRE) had a another winner in England with 2yo colt Astronaut at Sandown. Astronaut became the 12th first crop winner for Olympic Glory, Choisir's champion son, who stands at Arrowfield Stud at a fee of $16,500.

Pierro has produced 6 Winners in the past 7 days, 20 Winners in the past 30 days and 24 Winners in the 49 days of the new 2018-19 Racing Season. Unsurprisingly, he is fully booked at Coolmore Stud for a fee of $88,000 in 2018.

It’s been a big couple of weeks for Studmasters who have First Season Stallions with 2yo’s heading to the trials around Australia. Newgate Farm and Coolmore Stud would be wearing the biggest grins as their “new boys” are doing the job. Coolmore Stud must be delighted with RUBICK and VERRAZANO. Whilst Newgate Farm would be thrilled with the results of DEEP FIELD and WANDJINA whose progeny hit the ground running.

The talk around first season sire RUBICK is getting louder and louder. After KRAMERIC was a very impressive winner at the first 2yo trial at Rosehill, this week on Tuesday there were three 2yo trials (2 colts trials and 1 fillies trial) and in the fillies division a pair of RUBICK daughters finished 1st and 2nd. ANDRASSY AVENUE scored by 1 length over BISCARA both trained by Lindsay Park. Coolmore are excited about RUBICK.

WOW what a Dynamic win by LAMMA HILTON and what a ride by jet pilot RACHEL KING aboard our Brett Cavanough trained 5yo mare. In a dramatic finish LAMMA HILTON sprouted wings over the final 400m to claim a last stride victory in the PACIFIC PALMS HOLIDAYS TUNCURRY-FORSTER TOOHEYS XXXX GOLD CUP over 2100 metres.
