On Thursday 12 May 2022, a Major Milestone was achieved for the incredibly successful CIARON MAHER RACING Team as the co-trainers CIARON MAHER and DAVID EUSTACE scored their 1,000th Race Win as a Training Partnership since the boys set out together on the 1st August 2018. In just 3 years and 9 months, the Dynamic Duo have been represented 1,000 times in the Winner’s Circle, with 91 Stakes Wins (15 Group 1 Wins) included amongst this success.

Dynamic Syndications lovely 4yo mare NARRATED (Snitzel x Fictional Account) was resuming from a spell for her co-trainers CIARON MAHER & DAVID EUSTACE and with another “pearler” of a ride by “happy-go-lucky” Irish born jet pilot JOHN ALLEN, our Dynamic Duo led throughout to claim Race 6 at Ballarat on Sunday, the “Hygain Winners Choice” Bm64 Handicap 1400m, on a Heavy 8 surface.

The Champion racehorse of his generation, American Pharoah proved an instant success when he was crowned Champion First Crop Sire and was crowned Champion Second Season Sire. A RECORD Australian Weanling Sale concluded at Riverside on Thursday afternoon with all key financial metrics setting new benchmarks for the auction. Following two days of trade, 261 foals were sold at an average of $49,500 (up 13%) and median of $30,000 (up 25%), leading to a sale gross of $12,919,500, a 49% year-on-year increase. A total of 34 foals sold for $100,000 or more – up from 23 last year, while 10 sold for $200,000 or more, a 100% jump on the 2021 renewal.

Dynamic Syndications 4yo gelding MAJOR ARTIE recorded a tough all-the-way victory at his first attempt at Open Company grade last Saturday when he Won Race 1 on the programme, the Treasury Brisbane Open Handicap over 1825m. Our Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained MAJOR ARTIE also recorded a very rare feat, becoming a city winner in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Adam Watt from Dynamic Syndications spent a couple of days at GOOREE PARK in Mudgee this week to cast his eyes over several of our magnificent yearlings that are back in work under the expert eye of Mack Griffith who handles our pre-training and educational exercise programmes for our team of babies. This early education process is vital in the mental and physical development of young horses, all of whom have been broken-in by Australia’s Leading Horseman and Olympic Silver and Bronze medallist SHANE ROSE from his property Bimbadeen Park.
