Dynamic Syndications unbeaten 3yo grey gelding LOVE TAP (by TAPIT (USA) x SMOKEY’S LOVE (USA)) has been crunched into $3.50 outright favourite for the ATC Spring Champion Stakes Gr1 2000m, to be run at Royal Randwick on Saturday 10th October. The Richard & Michael Freedman trained LOVE TAP will be ridden by Nash Rawiller in the Gr1 Spring Champion and in his final lead-in race being this Saturday’s Gloaming Stakes.

Dynamic Syndications YARDSTICK (3yo colt Criterion x Exceleine) has accepted and will race in Saturday’s Gr1 Golden Rose 3yo 1400m at Rosehill. He is number 9 and drawn barrier 7 with Tim Clark aboard. Whilst our team are under no illusions as to the monumental task facing Yardstick, our Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained colt is fit and well and capable of making his presence known against the best sprinting 3yo’s in Australia.

It’s only mid-September but the wonderful weather we have been receiving over the past few weeks has seen blossoms forming in fertile Spring gardens and on the Horse Husbandry front, our recently turned 2yo fillies are in full bloom, as they continue to thrive under the care and guidance of Australian Olympian Shane Rose at his Bimbadeen Park property. Mo'unga went into everyone’s black book with his storming performance to win at Newcastle at his most recent start and the 3yo son of Savabeel was favoured to keep his record at a perfect three for three with his black-type debut in Saturday’s Listed Dulcify Quality (1500m) at Rosehill. He subsequently completed the task impressively, with a turn of foot reserved for quality horses and in the process became the super sire’s 101st Stakes Winner.

Over the weekend, Arrowfield Stud’s exciting first crop shuttle sire added to his growing reputation and instant success as a stallion with a new winner in England and a Listed Race runner-up in Ireland. The first 2yo trials for Sydney this season took place at Randwick on Tuesday morning with two heats over 735m. Both heats were won by the progeny of first season sires. The quickest of the two heats was won by an EXTREME CHOICE Filly named Avaricious, who showed speed from a wide gate to lead and when asked to keep going by Jay Ford got clear of her rival Medad (by Maurice) to win by a length and a half in 43.36 seconds.
