Displaying sizzling speed on a mud heap track at Hawkesbury gave Dynamic galloper ESCAPED (Exceed And Excel x Se Sauver) an easy first up victory on Sunday. The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained ESCAPED had been setting the training tracks alight and it was considered by connections just a matter of turning up to win and that’s how the story unfolded when ESCAPED won Race 5 the Julie Allnutt’s Birthday Benchmark 64 Handicap over 1000m on a Heavy 8 surface.​
