For the new 2019-20 Season Pierro is currently sitting in 4th position on the General Sires Premiership by Earnings behind leader Not A Single Doubt, in 2nd spot is Sebring and in 3rd spot is I Am Invincible. Pierro also sits in Second spot for Winners with 24 from 83 Runners currently 3 winners behind the leader I Am Invincible with 27 winners from 116 Runners.

With stables at Cambridge & Te Awamutu, New Zealand based trainer Brendon Hawtin is set to give training away in NZ and move to Australia, basing himself at Cranbourne. Brendon Hawtin is a competent and successful Kiwi trainer and made his mark in Sydney earlier this winter with a hit and run mission with Simply Optimistic, who won at Randwick. Brendon began training in 2006-07.

Dynamic Syndications unveiled a promising unraced 3yo gelding at the Randwick trials on Tuesday morning 27/8. ZEMDEGS (by Rubick x Balloons) was ridden by Nash Rawiller for trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. Nash took Zemdegs to the front and led throughout.

LOVING HEART (4yo Mare by Epaulette x Lucentino) claimed a tough and much deserved (and overdue) race win for her lovely “All Ladies Ownership Team” when the Brett Cavanough trained mare led throughout to claim a 1.12 length win of the Tattersalls Hotel Maiden Handicap over 1200m on Saturday 24/8.
