Recording another 2 Race Wins over the weekend, exciting young gun sire JUSTIFY continues to hold his place as the Leading First Crop Sire in the USA. Justify sired his 8th Individual Winner on Friday at Saratoga (NY) with 2yo filly Im Just Kiddin improving from being a debut runner-up, to record a strong win. Then on Sunday that was followed with Justify siring his 3rd Individual Stakes Winner with Justa Warrior remaining undefeated at Ellis Park (Kentucky).

Dundeel's book quality and yearling prices have followed the upward trajectory of his escalating career. DUNDEEL had a marvellous season. DUNDEEL amongst his peers finished in third place by winners. Zoustar produced 154 / 306 (50%) and Spirit Of Boom produced 132 / 275 (48%) with Dundeel 106 / 230 (46%). These boys were the only 5th crop sires to break 100+ winners in the season. Whilst DUNDEEL was Fourth by Earnings. SHAMUS AWARD thanks Incentivise ($5.4m) was First with $14.470m. Second was ZOUSTAR with $12,457m and Third was SPIRIT OF BOOM with $9.592m and DUNDEEL earned $6.836m.

In all, 19 of Justify’s first crop have faced the starter in the first 3 months of the new season in the USA and ALL 19 have earned prizemoney: 7 Winners + 8 Placegetters + 2 x 4ths and 2 x 5ths including a Gr2 and a Gr3 Winner and a LR placegetter.

A few days ago Adam from Dynamic went out to Gooree Park Stud at Mudgee to catch up with our recently turned 2yo’s going through their pre-training before heading into their respective city stables. The CIARON MAHER Racing Stables overseen by Head Trainer CIARON MAHER and Co-Trainer DAVID EUSTACE had an outstanding season and deserve well-earned recognition of their achievements. The Dynamic Duo were easily Leading Victorian Trainers with 276 Winners. Significantly they were 60 wins ahead on the Metropolitan Trainers Premiership with 104 Winners with their closest rival finishing with 44 wins. The CIARON MAHER RACING STABLE had a Strike Rate in Victoria of 21.0% which was sensational.

Finally, it’s happened, I Am Invincible has been crowned CHAMPION AUSTRALIAN SIRE for the 2021-22 Racing Season. I Am Invincible got the premiership he seemed destined for over the past few seasons when he prevailed in a gripping tussle with So You Think who finished runner-up almost $1.5m clear of four-time champion stallion Snitzel who was third. Newgate's Russian Revolution was crowned Champion First Season Sire, a first for a son of Snitzel.
