Talented American Pharoah (USA) colt TIJUANA made it back to back wins in as many starts when he scored a dashing victory in the VRC ANZAC Day Stakes Listed Race over 1400m for 2yo’s. TIJUANA has become the 27th stakes-winner worldwide alongside 21 stakes placegetters for Coolmore’s USA Triple Crown Winner - World Champion racehorse, Champion First & Second season sire in the USA. AMERICAN PHAROAH who has produced 228 Winners to date. Importantly TIJUANA is his third stakes winner, along with another two stakes placegetters in Australia, joining Head of State and Pretty Amazing plus stakes-placed Mrs American and Sword Point.

EXCEED AND EXCEL Leads Darley Australia Service Fee Announcements for 2022

Darley Australia have announced the service fees on their 2022 roster with 18 stallions to stand across NSW and Victoria. Champion sire Exceed and Excel heads their roster at a fee of $132,000 as he did last year. Whilst Street Boss (sire of Anamoe) was well received when switching to the Hunter Valley for the first time in 2021, and he has had a fee increase rising from $55,000 to $77,000. Arrowfield Stallions Dynamic Sales Results

Arrowfield Stud produced history-making results with the Stud’s Inglis Easter draft at Riverside Stables and the smiles are as equally broad for the results achieved by the progeny of the Stud’s stallions with all other vendors. Overall, 99 (90.8%) of 109 Arrowfield Stud based sire’s progeny sold at Easter for an average of $451,818. It was headed by eight (8) $1 million+ yearlings; 5 by Snitzel, 2 by Dundeel and 1 by Not A Single Doubt. Dynamic Syndications purchased four (4) yearlings this season by stallions that stand at Arrowfield Stud.

Williamsburg completes Baillieu-Fernhill double for Snitzel

The Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou-trained Williamsburg (Snitzel) is likely to back up in the Gr1 Champagne S. next Saturday after an impressive victory in the Listed Fernhill Mile. he colt became the first two-year-old in more than 20 years to add the Fernhill Handicap (Listed, 1600m) to his win in the T L Baillieu Handicap (Gr 3, 1400m) two weeks ago. Ridden by Kerrin McEvoy, Williamsburg took the Fernhill Handicap by a length and a quarter on Moko (Impending) with Russian Roni (Russian Revolution) five lengths from the winner in third.
