Racing NSW have announced an increase of $1.5 million in prizemoney for the Longines Golden Slipper Stakes from 2022. Prizemoney for the Longines Golden Slipper Stakes will be increased to $5 million, (up from $3.5m in 2021) cementing its position as the pre-eminent two-year-old race in the world and one of the highlights of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival. In addition to increased prizemoney for the Golden Slipper, the Australian Turf Club is also offering a $1 million bonus for any horse that wins the Golden Slipper having won feature pathway races in the lead-up.

Congratulations to the Dynamic Co-Ownership Team of our Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained 3yo brown gelding GROOVER (Lonhro ex Into The Groove) who was facing the starter for the first time. It was a 1200m Maiden Handicap at Kembla Grange on Tuesday afternoon. Thanks to the astute training of Gai and Adrian, and an outstanding ride by our go to jockey Christian Reith, the Dynamic Duo combined to claim Race 3, the Canadian Club Maiden Handicap, on a Good 4. GROOVER ran a slick time of 1:10.75 with a last 600m in 34.60. GROOVER picked up $22,365 for the win.

The Ownership Team of our gallant grey LOVE TAP were rightfully proud of the efforts of our Dynamic galloper when LOVE TAP tried his heart out finishing 3.8 lengths behind I’M THUNDERSTRUCK, COUNT DE RUPEE and VANGELIC in Australia’s third highest prizemoney race the $7.5m GOLDEN EAGLE over 1500m at Rosehill. Horse’s are 4yo’s for one year of their careers and the lure of the massive money allows owners to “live the dream.” LOVE TAP importantly earned connections $60,000 prizemoney for the effort, equivalent to winning a Sydney Saturday race.

AMERICAN PHAROAH is off to a solid start to his career, especially for a stallion expected to produce older horses that will be suited out to 2000m and beyond. From his First Crop (current 3yo’s) in Australia there are still 75 yet to go to the races. However, from his 39 Runners in the Southern Hemisphere he has produced 10 Winners and 8 Placegetters including Gr3 Winner Head Of State.

A record breaking Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale for two-year-olds in Sydney on Tuesday produced a great result for super sire Pierro when his colt from Ajeeta sold for $370,000 to be the equal second highest priced horse of the sale. The colt was a successful pinhook having been bought from the Newgate draft at Inglis Classic for $150,000. Dynamic Syndications on Thursday 28 October needed to re-offer a 5% Share in our 2yo Ready-To-Run Princess by PIERRO.
