Second Stakes win for American Pharoah Colt MACKINNON

Progressive American Pharoah (USA) colt Mackinnon made it back-to-back stakes wins when taking out the $200,000 Zuma Beach Stakes (1m) at Santa Anita on Sunday. A last start winner of the $102,000 Del Mar Juvenile Turf Stakes (1m), the colt proved much the best in cruising home to win by more than two lengths, his overall record now three wins and a second from five starts.

HARD TO SAY Produces Slashing Stakes Performance in ATC Breeders Plate Gr3

Dynamic Syndications produced an exciting 2yo Colt on Saturday in the time-honoured Breeders Plate Gr3 1000m for the Colts and Geldings and there were 3 colts in the race that had “flashing lights” on them as horses to follow. They were: the winner Sejardan , along with our colt HARD TO SAY (Exceed And Excel) who was desperately unlucky in the straight to run 4th just 0.11 from 3rd place, whilst Calico Jack (Merchant Navy) finished strongly after getting too far out of its ground early. The Breeders Plate was won by Sejardan who defeated Zambezi River by 1.18 lengths with third going to Emperor 1.79 lengths and Hard To Say in fourth 1.9 lengths.
