Gr1 Australian Guineas & Manikato Stakes winner HEY DOC was fresh on the scene having sidestepped the Spring Carnival. He resumed from his break but the noted first-up specialist led however was no match when swallowed-up by TELEPLAY and Home Of The Brave at WFA over 1300m at Sandown in Gr3 Kevin Heffernan Stakes. McEvoy then placed the 6yo Hey Doc to advantage by sending him to WA to take on tired Spring Carnival horses and WA’s lesser grade sprinters over 1200m at their feature sprint, the Gr1 WFA Winterbottom Stakes (1200m) at Ascot and by doing so, recorded his third win at Gr1 level.

Welcome to Australia Boys ! Our Dynamic Syndications purchased four (4) European Imports have landed in Australia on Saturday 30 November. Lot 270 RECONDITE (IRE), Lot 337 GREEK HERO (GB), Lot 341 INVASION DAY (IRE) and Lot 445 SAINT OF KATOWICE (IRE) went into quarantine in England at International Racehorse Transport’s (IRT) property immediately after we purchased the boys on the 28th and 29th October at the TATTERSALLS Horses-In-Training Sale at Newmarket. They flew out of London on Thursday evening 28/11 and arrived safe and sound on Saturday morning.

With the philosophy “if you can’t beat them – buy them” that’s exactly what we did, when purchasing already well performed, off the track racehorses and in the process, becoming the biggest Australian buyer at the sale by numbers and second biggest buyer by total spend. Champion sire Fastnet Rock was in hot form in New Zealand on Saturday with a stakes-winning double at Pukekohe. Exciting two year-old Unition (2c Fastnet Rock x Diademe, by Savabeel) won the Listed Fasttrack Insurance 5K Bonus 2YO Stakes (1100m) and was then followed later in the day by tough stayer In A Twinkling (4g Fastnet Rock x Moment in Time, by Archway) who took out the Group 3 Ssangyong Counties Cup (2100m).

NSW Owners the Beneficiaries with Big Increases to BOBS Bonus Structure ​

Racing NSW has announced that its BOBS Bonus Scheme has been overhauled and enhanced by the creation of a three-tiered structure. It’s set to be Platinum, Gold and Silver Categories with bonuses extending up to $100,000. There are no changes to the current existing BOBS Bonuses which will remain however they will be referred to as BOBS Silver and continue to apply to all the races that already carry BOBS Bonuses. Commencing from January 2020, selected races will have a BOBS Platinum Bonus of $100,000 or a BOBS Gold bonus of $50,000, offered for the winners of those race if they are paid-up for BOBS Bonus.

The video was taken at our recent VIP OPEN DAY held at COOLMORE STUD on the 14th October. 150 clients attended our private stallion parade and luncheon where a cameraman was present capturing the sights and sounds of this special day. During the luncheon break, there was an opportunity to interview loyal owners Charlie Deeb, Peter & Ann Wollett and Patrick Fleming whilst Adam Watt and Adrian Bott also had a chat.
